- PaigeFeb. 20, 2021Amazing room and great price!
My husband & I decided to do a last minute get-away to the Cities, but we have 2 dogs over 50 lbs. I searched and found this website and this hotel. It's amazing that there's no pet fee and no size restrictions! Plus, it's a gorgeous hotel with a very friendly staff! I think when it's nicer out, they would have gotten 6 out of 5 bones. We visited during the deep freeze in February 2021. Negative 20s was the average temp. Their dog friendly floors are on the top and we have big dogs that don't use pee pads and are used to long walks in a quiet neighborhood. They learned REALLY fast that they need to hold it to get to the elevator, take it down, go thru the lobby, thru 2 sets of doors and then there's no real dog friendly 'potty places'. The dogs learned REAL fast that they need to be quick with their business since it was so cold....and one is a Siberian Husky & the other an Aussie Shep mix....they can handle cold but this cold snap was insane. Target was within walking distance which was nice since I didn't pack enough warm clothes and lots of Uber Eats options since their restaurant was shut down due to Covid. Other reviews said things about treat bowls and water dishes in lobby....there was none when we were there. No offer of mats or anything when I checked in, but with Covid everything is different. Our king suite was spacious and we used Rover to get a pet sitter so we could do some shopping and go out to eat. Use Lydia if you stay here, she lives close!

The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly (all shifts), and our room was very clean. My only complaint is this; this hotel is dog friendly with no weight restrictions, which is normally a great thing! However, if you need to leave your pet in the room unattended, it is required that they be crated. This is totally understandable as a means to prevent pet damage in rooms, but the largest crate size they have is a small. My dog couldn’t turn around, stand, and had to duck to go inside, which is obviously animal cruelty so this greatly hindered my visit as a lot of things had to be cancelled due to not being able to leave without the pup (typically at home he is crate free and the hotel advertises having loaner crates available, otherwise I would’ve packed ours from storage)! Aside from this major setback we loved it.

- DanMore than a year agoFantastic. 100% dog friendly!
Great place, extremely nice room, they couldn’t have been more accommodating for us and our two labs. They even have a water bowl and dog treat bowl inside the main lobby. We will definitely stay there again!
- ErinMore than a year agoDog friendly in every way!
The staff were so welcoming to our 2 border collie mixes! They recommended a green space without asking when we arrived. We love there are no size restrictions or extra fees. We registered our pups and got 2 bowls and a mat for them. We will stay here again!
