In downtown St Cloud, on the bank of the Mississippi, this older hotel is very welcoming to dogs. Cooper didn’t pick up any negative vibes. Lots of grassy areas to stroll, as well as the walking path along the river. I wish dog owners would be more vigilant about picking up poops. Dog friendly hotels will disappear if we don’t clean up after our dogs.

We (my wife, our springer and myself) stayed the night while were on our way to pick up our newest family member - a Brittany puppy. The room was clean, comfortable and had plenty of space.

I’m not sure if it was due to COVID-19, but the room was not clean. This was our first experience traveling with our dogs, and luckily it got better after this stay.
