The historic hotel room was lovely when first walked in, but became an instant mess after unpacking our travel necessities. There was one small bureau with the coffee/tea service on top and one fold out luggage rack. No closet, no place to hang coats. Only one small stiff chair. No place to sit except on the beds. In the bath there was a pedestal sink only. No surfaces for toiletries. The room was "pet friendly" but no thoughtful pet amenities.
There is no on-site restaurant, though advertised as though there is. The restaurant was across the street in the 'sister' Mizpah hotel where we had previously stayed. The only reason we had not chosen to stay there again was the restaurant, which would have been fine except for the overly loud and nerve grating 1920s theme music. So we ended up sitting on the bed eating A&W food in the expensive Belvada. We won't be staying there again. On the bright side, the linens and mattresses were very comfortable.

My only complaint is that dog-friendly rooms would be helpful to be on the first floor and not the fifth. Happy to have dog friendly though no matter the floor. The staff at check-in lacked professionalism; we waited through four calls and an email at 9 pm, dog and bags in tow before acknowledgment. The morning team was lovely though.

Very spacious room with an extra room with a desk, microwave and refrigerator. Lots of space for my dog’s bed.

BEAUTIFUL, historic hotel in the middle of Nevada. The rooms are spacious with plenty of room to accommodate our 60lb golden doodle. The room also has a separate area outside the bathroom that contains a large work desk, and a coffee station. Across from that is a good size refrigerator to keep your food cold. The Belvada has a sister hotel across the street, The Mizvah, that is also historic; containing a museum and a variety of TV screens where you can lounge (w/ dog) and enjoy food and beverages. Lots of regulars w/ dogs, so you feel right at home w/ your pup. Another bonus to this hotel is that it contains a beautiful cafe and next to that a well equipped fitness center; a complete shock for this oasis in the high desert.

On a long driving trip it was great to be able to check into the Belvada with our dog. The room was HUGE, but there was nowhere to hang our clothes. (There was a rod attached to the wall, but no hangers.) The hotel is quiet (good for the dog) and centrally located. There is a tiny park down the main street that our dog liked; otherwise there were just the streets to walk him on. The bed was comfortable and there was a table or nightstand on both sides - helpful when there are two of you traveling together. I would stay here again next time I'm in Tonopah.

Spacious room for our two pups after a long day of travel. Easy in/out for them to do their business and hotel is perfectly situated for experiencing the town. Had an awesome Latte in the cafe and love the sister hotel - the Mizpah - it’s a museum in itself!

After confusion about pet rates was resolved to my satisfaction, we had a lovely stay. Beautifully renovated old location in historic Tonopah. Great quality bed, towels, and coffee in room. Friendly staff as well.
