Super 8 by Wyndham Independence Kansas City accepts two pets of any size in designated rooms. The pet fee is $10 per night for pets under 50 lbs. For larger pets, the fee is $14 per night, plus a $100 refundable deposit. Pets must be crated if left unattended in rooms. I’m honestly afraid for my safety and the safety of my vehicle. The hallway smells like they soaked the carpet in cheap perfume and despite the stench you can still smell something that is similar to a decaying corpse. There are ladies of the night in the parking lot bringing men in and out and worse than that their “boyfriends” are lurking around the parking lot waiting to get paid! The room itself is ok but only because it was recently remodeled. The stench from the hall isn’t as bad in the room but the vents on the ac unit make it hard to feel like you won’t get COVID from the years of food and dust piled high in the vents! Unfortunately I booked it through this site which says you understand this is non-refundable so I’m stuck here for the night - wish me luck!
