  Fine if you like motels that don’t update anything. The grounds were not good and the room was average. I checked for bedbugs I was so nervous. Everyone talks about the paved pathway. Well that pathway says PRIVATE, so we didn’t use it. Typical photos online make it look nice. It’s not. I’d rather pay $200 for clean and safety!! No door locked (coming in from parking lot) from anyone not staying there. Not good! Find another pet friendly motel.

  Warm and comfy room

  The expansive green space - including a walking trail to and from the nearby lake - was a welcome respite during our drive across the country. The room had everything we needed, and the barbeque restaurant just across the road was AMAZING!

  Great overnight

  Staff friendly and helpful, room clean and adequate. Would have liked a table but instead there is room for a big crate. Lots of grassy areas for dog walking.

  Front desk rep was very friendly, even supplied a few potty bags for us. Room was good and we were very close to a door for getting to the potty area.

  Easy stop

  Fast on and off the highway and very friendly staff. We were put in a 1st floor room which was helpful. The room was clean but did show some age. Behind the hotel was a pond which was nice for our Golden Retriever to stretch his legs. We would stay here again.

  Good night stay

  The hotel shows some age and wear and tear. But a really good stay and positive experience. Friendly staff and being placed on the 1st floor was a nice advantage. Our dog Koda enjoyed his stay!

  Location is ok, fairly close to the interstate. Room was reasonably clean but sorely in need of an update. Two adults, two small children and a 10 pound dog overwhelmed a small room. No outside doors is locked overnight. Grounds outside are not well kept. But room was pretty clean. Staff was nice. Free breakfast was good. Not the worst, not the best

  Needs TLC

  Requested 1st floor room was honored but upon entering the room, 1st thing I noticed was a wad of hair stuck on the bathroom door. The ceiling in bathroom and entry was damaged and vent in bathroom was missing. I leave the bathroom light on during the night with the door cracked. In the morning there were bugs in the sink and on the countertop and floor. The bed was comfortable and clean, but I would not recommend.

  Dog friendly

  I’ve stayed here before a couple years ago and loved it. The lake nearby is awesome for walking pups.
  This stay was not impressed with the room. It was dirty and the tub had hair in it.

  Nice location

  Has a pond with trail behind the hotel, so plenty of room for dog relief. Room kinda small, but OK if you don't have a big dog. Staff most friendly and helpful. All in all, stay was OK. Was a one-nighter for us.

  Staff was very friendly. It was nice being on the first floor with the dog. Room was clean. The only downside was the marble on the front of sink was falling and the light above the sink would work randomly.

  Bed was good and clean

  But the rest of the property needs refreshing. There were only 2 cars in the parking lot and based on the overgrown grass all around, I thought the hotel was abandoned. I was surprised to find they had a decent lobby when I walked in though. Perhaps they’re renovating in stages which it definitely needs.

  Nice walking area

  Enjoyed our one night stay. Easy to get to from the highway. Clean but older. Understand the use of vinyl floors in pet rooms but noisy for dogs walking around. Staff was friendly and the breakfast had many choices. Coffee (or tea) available 24/7. Best thing was the walking path around the lake behind the hotel! A great spot to give my dogs a nice walk in the morning.

  Private Pond, BBQ Next Door

  This little gem was a delightful place in which I spent one night with my dog and cat while driving cross-country. Gorgeous little pond right out back, 1/2 mile paved loop around is perfect place to walk the dog and unwind. Saw a blue heron and a goose in the water! Great barbeque next door and a Krogers 6 minutes away if you need supplies. Hotel was under construction, room in pretty good shape and clean, considering. Should be much nicer next time we stay, which we definitely will!

  My husband and I stayed on our way out to Arizona with our dog. The room was comfortable and there was a nice size pond behind the hotel to walk your dog! Nice place to stop for a night.

  Loved the lake!

  The hotel was comfy and clean and perfect for what we needed. What I loved about this stop was the lake behind the hotel. Small lake/pond with a nice paved path to walk around. I would definitely stay here again for that alone! Easy on and off the freeway.

  The property was fine; no issues with the room, reservation etc. What is nice about this property is the small pond behind the motel (part of a college campus?) that has a paved trail all the way around it. Steps lead down to the trail from the motel parking lot, and the trail is ~2/3 mile long. Great for a quick morning dog walk.

  Great Location & Nearby Dog Park

  The hotel is easy on easy off the highway. Room was clean and comfortable, nice king size bed great pillows. Breakfast has good choices. Room was away from the highway, facing a small lake. Would stay there again. There’s very nice city dog park with three separate enclosures nearby.

  All dogs are on the first floor and the rooms have laminate which is nice! Great pond to walk dogs and the hotel is right off the interstate so great for road trips.

  The Baymont in Rolla backs up to a lovely little lake with a path around it perfect for walking the pup. The staff at the hotel was great, very friendly and attentive. Fine breakfast. I liked the hotel so much I stayed there again on my way home. And Finnegan remembered it all and loved the walks!

  Friendly Staff

  Friendly staff, comfortable beds, great pond to walk your dog around, decent pool and the room seemed clean. A few cosmetic needs but overall a decent stay for the price. The only thing is that the back door did not lock. We alerted the front staff and hope it gets fixed immediately.

  Great view of the pond with easy access to walk your dog around the pond right behind the building. Tons of grassy area for your pup. Clean room and close to exit on first floor making it easier to take dogs out. Great BBQ place next door too.

  Only problem was getting into room. Keys would not work. The lock in the door was bad. Causing visit to front desk to get into room every time we went out.

  The room had the bare necessities. The bathroom was very tired and not the cleanest. Stained grout and the air handler above the shower was filthy. The place for dogs was big but so filled with poop that you had to watch every step. (Not the hotel's fault at all but rather lazy pet owners).

  Great view of the pond with easy access to walk your dog around the pond right behind the building. Tons of grassy area for your pup. Clean room although a little smaller than I had thought it would be. Room close to exit and on first floor making it easier to take dogs out.

  There is a walkway around a pond behind the Baymont that is great for walking the dog or just getting some exercise. Breakfast was not fancy but was hot and lots of options. We would go there again.

  It was the best. Nice room, plenty of space. The front desk staff were great, they helped me locate a dig park where my two Boston’s could run around before we turned in for the night. I’ll stay here again.

  Just perfect!

  We have stayed here before and thought it just average but our stay this time was perfect...1st floor room, very clean, comfortable bed with pillows, pond out back for our dog to stretch his legs. Will stay again!

  Just OK

  Property has a lot of outside access doors so you don't have to walk all the way out the front everytime you need to take your pet out. Too bad the key card panels don't work to let you back in the building. So you have to walk down to the main entrance anyway. You are not allowed to leave your pet in the room alone even if you bring a crate, so too bad if you wanted to go to an event or shop in the town. Rooms are decent and clean but the AC does not put out cold air, just a fan. And the hot water does not get warm enough for a hot shower after a hard day of travel. The employees are nice and helpful except for the one guy we spoke to, he was rude and almost hateful that we asked for a confirmation emailed to us.

  Clean and recently updated. With Covid, breakfast was sad. Only yogurt, or a prepackaged muffin or danish was available. No fresh fruit. Dog friendly. Great front desk staff

  Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful~~

  The rooms are very typical of hotels, but very clean and wonderful floors for dogs. They have a pond directly behind them with about a 1 mile paved path around it. This was wonderful after a day of being cooped up in the car for both me and the dogs. Will definitely stay again

  Repeat guest - worth passing the other motels

  Our dog loves this hotel - no real hall or room noises, a hard surface floor, generously sized room, comfy (human) bed and best of all: great path to walk around a lake. She's good at finding "stuff" (buttons, pills, small toys, etc.) and she's never found anything at this Baymont (cheers to the housekeepers). I enjoyed the hot breakfast. The staff went beyond the expected in helping me update my Wyndham account.

  This was a very comfortable and clean room with the added benefits of an indoor pool and a pond with a walking path. Good for us and our dogs after a long day on the road. The only reason we didn’t score it a 5 is that the air conditioner didn’t work well in our room. We had 2 dogs and the pet fee at check in was $30 in case this info is still not on the booking page.

  Bad Attitude

  Bad attitude from staff and unprofessional sarcasm on their signage in rooms. I don't choose places as a paying customer to be treated as a thief. Ironically, their vending machine stole my money and I was not apologized to and was made to wait for water until the rep had finished gabbing away with customers. Worst hotel vibe of this trip.

  Ground floor room

  Appreciated the ground floor room. Nice room, no smell, laminate flooring. Kids running and jumping above us, we had to change rooms but next room was as nice. Front desk kind people, breakfast good. Great paved paths to walk fur babies around a small lake in back. Good place!
