  Noisy location

  Listened to highway noise all night and the area didn’t seem very safe. Heard car alarms and police sirens all night. There were three police cars there when we checked out. Otherwise the room was updated, clean, and comfortable, and the inside of the hotel was quiet. It was close to a Waffle House for dinner. There wasn’t a very large sized grassy area for pet relief, but it was an adequate stay just to sleep for the night.

  Staff was friendly and the room was ok, but there was very little space to let my dog relieve herself or get any walking done. So if traveling without a dog it’s ok, but I would keep looking if you have a pet.

  The staff was friendly however the property was filthy. The carpeting was gross with dried food. The room was just ok. Hair in the tub and bottom of mini fridge, toilet leaked on the floor. On the positive, the bed was extremely comfortable. We won’t stay here again.

  Jasper the Adventure Dog really enjoyed meeting Marcy at the Super 8 in Rolla, MO. She was so nice. My room was bigger than most so I could play ball and it had a nice chair for me to sit on.

  Pet friendly rooms and staff

  Ground floor room with laminate flooring. Staff was amazing. The beds were a little dated but otherwise a great stay.

  Good enough

  Nice staff, good breakfast, not too noisy. Everywhere I stay the vinyl floors are dirty. Not much outdoor space. Head out the front door, turn right thru main events to grassy area by BBQ place. Clean up after your dogs please.

  Clean and updated. Staff was nice. I happened to stay the night when 2 bus loads of students were there; not fun with the loud noise.

  Very Pet Friendly

  The Super 8 in Rolla treated us and our pets very well. We brought our small dog and cat and both enjoyed their stay. The room was clean and neat, though it appeared they may use their older bedding in pet rooms. The blanket and bedspread were stained and a bit worrisome. The sheets were better but still pretty worn. It was in the high 90's so we just used the sheets. Fortunately, but not always a given in these types of places with an AC unit in each room, the cooling worked very well. The grassy areas had kinda tall grass that our small dog didn't like, it tickles her tummy. It was also pretty small and was awfully full, if you know what I mean.

  We did find another spot nearby that wasn't quite as well used and Fido was happy with that. They were mowing it when we left which likely addressed both issues. The staff was "super" the breakfast was good, though standard eggs, sausage and make-your-own waffles. The coffee was excellent and plentiful. The place is just off I-44 and there is some traffic noise when outside. Our dog was apparently traumatized by truck noises when she was younger and the noises from the highway was her only concern. Other than the bedding that my wife felt was a bit sketchy, I was very pleased. Our cat, of course, "owned" the place and seemed very pleased. We all agree that on subsequent visits to Rolla, this would be a good place to look for a room.

  Ok for the price

  Room clean. Totally ok for one night on a long journey. Definitely a noisy location close to freeway. Looks like managers are trying to tidy up location.

  The room was clean. That is always my biggest concern. I would stay here again with my dogs.

  Good location (close to highway). Recently renovated rooms with hard flooring instead of carpet. Small grassy dog area. Nominal pet fee.

  Ok Place

  We’re traveling with 3 cats and a dog. First floor rooms are pretty easy to load in/out. Staff is not very welcoming so to say that this hotel is pet friendly is a bit of a misnomer. I’d say pet tolerant. The pet fee of $15 per pet seemed steep and we have to have someone stay in the room at all times which is fine since we’re passing through but would be difficult if we were staying for a few days.

  Need to Update the pillows they weren’t comfy , other than that everything was great , there was small grassy areas to walk the dogs
