  Excellent accommodations

  I had to drive across country from west coast to almost the east coast. This hotel was by far the best place I stayed at. I was traveling with my dog (50 lbs) and the room was perfect. Flooring was not carpet which I appreciate in a pet-friendly hotel. The room was immaculate and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I'd stay here any time passing through and highly recommend it.

  A Good Stay

  The hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. There was ample area to walk our dog. The room was comfortable with quick access to the outside areas. The Inn also served a good hot breakfast. We will stay again when traveling.

  Dogs truly welcome

  The Pinemark was great! They gave us a dog treat upon arrival. There is an off-leash dog park which is a nice touch. It really felt like dogs were welcome versus just allowed. The rooms are also nice. We'll definitely stay here again!

  Clean, fairly new

  Great, great motel and super clean. This family-owned motel takes great pride in their establishment. breakfast was delicious with real silverware and dishes!!! Can’t say enough good things. Door to outside, fyi. Subway and Burger King within walking distance.

  You absolutely need to stay here!

  We pulled up and I was worried with the exterior doors that this would be more motel than hotel. I couldn’t have been more wrong! The rooms are newly renovated and adorable, breakfast made me feel like I was in a family member’s home - well taken care of with all the basics (hot eggs, biscuits and coffee). Our pup Harley and his humans give it 5 bones!

  Great Place!

  No complaints at all about this place. It wasn't very full when we were there (early February), but the property is ideal for pets. There are several grassy areas, it is well off the road, and while we didn't use it, there is a small fenced in dog area available. Staff were all friendly and the room was clean and quiet. Definitely recommend.

  Wonderful hotel

  The hotel is really 10/10 regardless and extra good for dogs. The rooms are spotless and charming, breakfast is great, the staff are very considerate. The gated off-leash dog area is big enough to run off some energy. I would visit this hotel as a destination on its own, and it's well worth the stop on a trip passing through.

  Great place to stay for dogs

  A nice, reasonably-priced motel where you can park right next to your room. Very quiet. Good-sized room with a couch. Dog-friendly with a fenced-in dog run. Walking distance to a grocery store. Easy on-off the freeway, though the town is rather run down. Most restaurants were closed on Monday, so enjoyed amazing fried chicken from the grocery store. Nice staff- family owned. Good breakfast. Great place to stay, especially for dogs.

  Great stay

  A really nice surprise. Very clean, comfy bed with great lines, terrific water pressure in the shower. It's very dog friendly, with good grassy areas. Delicious breakfast. Staff (Becky) is helpful and very professional. We didn't know what to expect, but all previous reviews were right on. This place is great. We will definitely come back to stay again.

  Great Dog Friendly Hotel

  Three highlights: 1) an actual double gated dog running area about the size of a suburban lot with bags, trash can, shade, and picnic table. 2) Great shower pressure and heat...and great beds and heavy laminate flooring that's easy to clean with pets. 3) Easy ramps and loading area for carts, etc. Bonus: The sunset views from either balcony, group table, or pool

  Excellent!

  One of the best places we have stayed with our dogs. Staff was great, room lovely and boutique feel of the hotel was a welcome after 11 hours on the road. Highly recommend.

  Wonderful!!

  Wonderful independent hotel

  The Inn was just as described. Cozy, right off 44, and a fenced in dog run for icing on the cake. Rebecca the front desk was warm and welcoming and our room was perfect. We don’t eat breakfast but the selection looked good.

  The BEST!

  I loved everything about this friendly Inn. The staff were so nice. The room was amazing! Very clean. Beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable as well. They go above and beyond to ensure their guests are comfortable. The fenced area for pets was very nice. I will definitely be staying here again.

  Dog show weekend

  Great place to stay with friendly staff. Clean and very pet friendly. They even have a small fenced in off leash area.

  Great property, very dog friendly

  This is a great property. You can tell by the bones of the hotel it's old, but it has been maintained and updated to be a great property. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The dog park was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this location!

  We’ll be back!

  We tried this place on a trip from Ohio to Texas, it was the perfect place to relax with our Cavachon! Lots of grass to sniff! We stayed twice/ once on the way to Texas and then we booked again quickly for the way back we liked it that much. The room was super comfortable- we overslept coming back because we were totally out on those beds! You can tell they take a lot of pride in this place. Loved the laminate flooring conducive to pup purposes. We brought in the dog bed and he was able to chill comfortably. The breakfast was just right-coffee, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, before we started on the road again. It was chilly yesterday so they had the fireplace going in the lobby and it was so cozy. Nicole at the front desk was super nice. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back next time we road trip it to Texas!

  Best hotel/motel ever!

  Absolutely LOVED this place! Updated, easy in and out, plenty of green space, plus a fenced in dog area! Very animal and people friendly!! I would highly recommend this hotel/motel.

  Very clean. Lots of green outdoor space for dog walking. Could park in front of room on ground floor making it easy to take dogs out.

  This place is a GEM!

  We spent last night at Budget Lodging in Saint Clair, MO. The place is a gem! The owner used the downtime from the pandemic to update all of the facilities. Our room was modern, comfortable, and quiet. The beds were very comfortable. The shower was awesome - easy to adjust, plenty of hot water, and great water pressure. The hot breakfast buffet was very good - good selections, and good safety/cleanliness protocols in place. There is a very adequate enclosed grassy dog area, so our dog could be off-leash (grass was a little bit long, and, of course there was a bit of dog waste that previous dog owners had not picked up 🙄, but it was usable). We will definitely stay here again when in the area.
