  Quiet and comfortable

  Check-in was quick and everyone was pleasant and kind. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Not a huge grassy area for walking pup, but adequate.

  Surprisingly Nice Location

  Not only was our room nice, and the staff friendly, and helpful, as a birder, there was added bonus. The property is located in front of a lovely pond. I was unaware of this when we checked in late in the evening and was surprised when I walked my puppers in the early morning, when it was still dark, to hear the call of a kingfisher. On a second walk after sunrise, when that pond, and the path leading to it was visible, we were delighted. Sadly, while I distracted by birds, my pooch noticed a feral cat (they leave food for them around the property), took off like a shot, with me attached to her leash, sending me, and my camera flying! So except for feeding the enemy, the place is great for staying with your pup!

  The room was clean but needed dusting! Lamp did not have a bulb in it! Breakfast was very good! Dog park was ok, nothing fancy! Needs some tlc! The chair in the room upholstery was torn and worn in many places, I took picture upon arrival to the room. I paid the room fee when I made the reservation!

  7 Day Stay

  With 2 big pups the front desk was very accommodating! The property was great, a bit dated but served our purpose. There is a good amount of places for the pups to relieve ourselves.

  Everything was clean and bright, staff very friendly. Great dog walk area. Able to walk to some stores if needed. Would definitely recommend.

  Old and dirty

  Old facility, recently painted and renewed, but dirty and poorly maintained. Ice bucket leaked and had no cover. No coffee before 6:0am. No fruit.

  Average hotel

  I stayed at this hotel about 3 years ago and don’t remember it being so unclean. Although the slight renovation upgrade that was done it seems dirtier than last time I stayed. Not sure if this is because Covid or not but definitely noticeable. The staff are super nice and the room was decent for a quick stay. Served the purpose of my stay but wish it was a little cleaner.

  Beautiful hotel

  Very nice hotel looks newly renovated! Worth the stay. Pet fee was $20 so our one night cost $100 which wasn’t bad. The rooms were huge with very high ceilings

  Cute bedding, the rooms are well taken care of and clean. Added bonus, the employee who checked me in was engaging with my pup.

  great desk staff, decent breakfast choices, but floor was filthy

  The desk staff was really friendly and helpful, but when I tried to wipe up a sticky spot on the room floor, the white cloth came up black. I went right away to the front desk and she gave us a different (and larger) room, but at that point I couldn't resist a "wipe test" on the new floor and it was also dirty, though not as bad. I would not go back there again based on the poor cleaning.

  Great place

  I enjoyed staying there. Our room had wood flooring in it. A big plus for me. We've got a dog whose on his last leg. His has accidents quite often. It made cleaning up after him a breeze. Staff was real nice. It was also ab I ut a 10 minute drive from the beach and casino

  Disrepair.

  Positive: suite was spacious. Mostly negatives: hallway carpets with many stains, doors in need of painting, ice machine did not work, breakfast area closed early. Not a feeling of cleanliness.

  Big Rooms

  We were driving from NC to TX with our new 86# rescue Doberman and weren’t sure where we were stopping each night. I was able to make a reservation just 2 hours before we arrived. The staff was really nice and the room was big and clean. Our only issue really was the grounds were trashy and the pet relief area was pretty small.

  Serene pond

  Fido was pleased: plenty of potty spots and a dog park within 3 miles. Humans liked the large room in the mini suite. The only sticking point was the linoleum and tile floor, which was so dirty it was sticky. If the floors had been clean, this stay would have been a 5.

  This was such a great hotel for the price. Rooms were really nice. It seemed like dog friendly rooms were all on the 1st floor. Nice little dog relief areas outside. Food options conveniently located across the parking lot. Staff was great. Just what I needed after 4 days of driving with the pups.

  Horrible!

  The bathroom was disgustingly dirty. Thankfully, I had my cleaning wipes to clean the toilet seat. We chose not to shower due to the dried animal poop residue in the tub. All the coffee packets (creamer, sugar, etc.) had been opened and rifled through. The hallway smelled of mold and mildew. The very small "dog area" was mostly dirt, weeds and cigarette butts and was being used by employees taking their cigarette break. We appreciate we can stay there with 3 large dogs; however, we still expect a minimal level of service and comfort.

  Just OK

  Room on first floor for pups is a plus. Applebee’s in the same parking lot is helpful. Room was on the smaller side. Breakfast was nicely done. A couple of issues: Lots of employee/guest smokers at the doorways. Pet walk area is an old bench and bit of grass behind hotel. Hotel had lots of teen cheerleaders in town for some competition, and they practiced until 2 am in the hallways right over our room so the ceiling shook with every jump. And moms chaperoning allowed girls to come to breakfast in their pajamas. Hotel staff seemed unconcerned. Not exactly what I bargained for.

  Great stay

  Nice la Quinta. Rom was nice and clean and a really nice quality king bed. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 bones was because there wasn’t a lot of space to walk the dogs. Otherwise our stay was perfect

  This is a really nice hotel in a nice area. The staff are super pet friendly. I stay at this location often with my two dogs and have always had a pleasant experience. Accommodations are also very nice.

  Room was clean, cool and spacious (deluxe king room was all that was available). A little pricey but the staff was great. Traveling with pets and some of the places I've had to stay, I was willing to pay the price for a nice clean, cool room.

  Perfect in almost every way

  Room was big, clean and comfortable. Paid a few extra bucks for the deluxe king room and very glad we did. Have our Golden Doodle more room to roam after being in the car for 12 hours. Staff was excellent. Only slightly disappointed at the breakfast selection, but good choices were very close by. Will stay again in the future when passing thru.

  So, we quickly made a booking while driving to Texas. It has good ratings, no pet fee, room is clean, however, it is just okay.... Not worth the price. Pup had plenty of space and it was extremely dog friendly.

  Way over priced

  The place was terrible, the whole hotel smelled really bad, the carpets throughout were all stained and smelly, doors didn’t work wifi didn’t work. The only reason I gave it 3 is as bad as it was the staff was very friendly and helpful

  Decent Stay

  We arrived after a long day on the road. We were checked in to room 115 right by the elevator. It had a bad smell and the A/C was making noise. We requested another room and hotel staff was very accommodating. They are serious about dogs with the two dogs and no size limit. We were surrounded by the large breeds and unfortunately the slightest noise set them to barking. Made for a noisy morning but on the bright side we got in the road extra early.

  Overall Great Hotel

  We are a family with two small kids and a dog traveling on military orders and received a warm welcome after a long day on the road. The staff was incredibly kind and courteous. Especially to my kiddos and dog. They love dogs here! The room itself was very clean and very comfortable. There is even a great dog park/park about a mile away. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again.

  Very Pet Friendly

  There are 2 areas for walking dogs. They even provide potty bags for you. The hotel is on a small pond so you can walk close to the water. Hotel has a pool and free breakfast. The staff is very friendly and loves to see the animals coming in. Good location. Close to the interstate and only 15-20 mins away from the beach and casinos.
