The Econo Lodge was undergoing a “facelift.” Ice machine was inoperable, shower was in need of repair, breakfast was nonexistent, but personnel were friendly.

The first room had no towels, washcloths, or blankets. The second room had a dirty toilet and smears of what looked like dried blood on the counter and hair dryer and holder.
