  Nice property for pets

  The staff was friendly & helpful. We were able to upgrade from the second floor to a first floor room. Many of the first floor rooms, perhaps others, have been updated and are very convenient for pets & their people.

  Great room!

  Great room! Very nicely appointed and roomy. We got a standard king. We were on the 3rd floor which was fine but recommend that you ask for a unit on the 1st floor. All the main floor rooms have a door opening to the parking lot which is very handy for taking our little pals out for a potty or walk. There were lots of grassed walking areas which was nice. Breakfast was good too. Would stay there again. I only gave it a 4 because there was a lot of doggie do-do on the grassy areas.

  Wish we could have got a discount as the pool and hot tub were out of order. Otherwise great outdoor space for an energetic yellow lab!

  Good stay

  Very nice place. Room very clean and comfy. Short walk to restaurant. Breakfast very similar to most BUT comparatively a bit cheap. Staying again in 10 days. Will forego the "included" breakfast. Pool area looked wonderful but we didn't use it. Dogs on 3rd floor was inconvenient.

  Give this one a pass

  After a long and tiring day, you (and your dogs) want to be able to rest, relax and decompress. We chose this hotel based on previous positive reviews and mention of ground floor rooms with easy access to pet relief areas. Despite a request to be on the main floor, we were given once again a 2nd floor room. The positives? No pet fee and they take big dogs. Pet relief area and parking lot were well lit at night.

  Negatives? It's on the opposite side of the highway from most other hotels and restaurants (although there is a gas station and Cracker Barrel adjacent). Room was right off the elevator which was in an alcove making it tricky to access if other guests were present. One dog, who is normally good about elevators, objected to the elevator's black flooring and had to bodily be dragged into it anytime we needed to go out for a potty break. The room was also right next to the vending and ice machines so there was a lot of guest traffic right outside our room all night. It had a huge "leather" recliner that was peeling and worn, not to mention uncomfortable to sit in.

  Not the sight your travel weary eyes want to be greeted with when you enter the room. It was a loud, dated, aged hotel that presumably means well. We would not stay here again if given a better option. Rather pay more money elsewhere and get a restful night sleep!

  Perfect Place

  Exactly what we expected and worked perfectly for our two GSD’s. The first floor rooms open out to not only the hallway but to the outside as well. Thus we were able to park in front of our room and which made the suitcase drag very efficient. The KI had plenty of green grass area for our dogs to get their sniffs and reliefs on too! Would definitely stay again ..

  Great experience

  Room was a king on bottom floor with no carpet, which we always appreciate when traveling with a dog (they seem cleaner than wondering if any pets have piddled on the carpet). We found the room to be clean and plenty of grassy areas outside. It was a great experience traveling with a pet and price was very reasonable.

  Nice enough

  Room was large and clean. Hostess's were pleasant and positive. Third floor area around the elevator smelled strongly of paint, maybe freshly painted, maybe not. Pet area was rather nasty as many people don't seem to clean up after their pets. Neither do the maintenance crew apparently.

  Decent stop over

  The hotel itself was nice overall. There was a field trip or something happening the night we stayed, lots of teenagers and way too much door slamming but thankfully it didn’t last too long into the night. We ended up on the second floor which wasn’t the greatest for a pup room, but manageable. The dog walk area was so riddled with dog poop it was disgusting, but the grassy area was big and ironically enough, the hotel had a poop bag station set up, which is always a win when it’s actually utilized.

  Quiet Room

  Very nice room. I had expected a room with no rug. This was our first time in a hotel with our little doggie. He did great! Breakfast was adequate. Something I didn’t like was the girl at desk could not get my card to go through so she said she would put it through behind the counter; I expected I would put my pin# in on the pin pad, but she asked me for my pin #. I refused!!! Never give your pin # to anyone. Thus only four bones.

  Dogs were happy, we were happy! Rooms were clean, staff friendly. The pool was closed and most the 1st and 2nd floors were closed for updates (a good thing) but it was still quiet and restful for our quick overnight. We’d definitely stay again!

  Excellent dog walk area

  The inn has an excellent dog area - pick up your poop, of course. Less than a mile away is an off leash dog park which is a godsend after a day on the road. Restaurant next door. Ideal.

  It wasn't good

  There was a coke can in the window. The shower curtain had something brown on it. Gross. The pillows are so uncomfortable and the beds. The guy at the front desk was short with me and kinda rude. Also. To charge to hold a room? Seriously that is insane. If people show up you should not charge them for holding it. Very disappointed! Won't be staying again!

  The room was clean and hot breakfast was good. The gym is small. The pool is nice. There is a large grass area for pets to play at. The area is not enclosed though. I gave 4 bones because pets (crated or not) cannot be left unattended. I missed that in the post before booking. Overall ,good place to stop and stay.

  Lots of well cared for grass, rooms on ground level have own door to outside. Linoleum tile on floor. They have a good breakfast. Next to nice gas station and Cracker Barrel.

  Good staff!

  Front desk, Tori, was extremely helpful and even gave our pups a treat when we arrived. It's an older hotel and is under some construction which didn't bother us. The pool and hot tub were not working due to the remodeling in process which again didn't affect our stay, but it may with others. With that being said, if you're going to stay with kids you might want to inquire about the pool before booking. As a pet hotel, it was perfect for us!

  Lots of green space, very dirty room

  The room was absolutely disgusting! Brown carpet that looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed or cleaned in years. Lots of green space for pup to run. Okay stay, but definitely would not stay again.

  The entire hotel is pet friendly!

  Great experience with staff, I asked for a room with 2 queens instead of 1 single king bed after 4 long days on the road we needed the extra rest of our own beds. I asked to make sure it was a pet friendly room and they told me the entire hotel was pet friendly! The pet area was clearly marked and quite large, bags were provided in a couple of spots. Great experience all around.

  We are traveling across the country with 2 small dogs. Kelly Inn was amazing! Get the deluxe king jetted tub on the ground floor and you have an exit on the parking lot side as well as the front door, and it is so handy for unloading and taking the dogs outside to the pet area. Cracker Barrel next door is nice, too.
  Free breakfast, microwave, fridge, lots of space, tile floor - it checks all the boxes! (The tub was great, too.) I told the manager on duty I wish all the hotels on our trip were this great. I would definitely book again!

  Have dogs? No better place!

  This hotel was absolutely amazing when it came to dogs. Not only was there not a fee, they went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we need and didn’t feel pet shamed in anyway. Additionally, there wasn’t any BS pet fee. Will stay here again next time I come through Billings.

  Courteous staff, super clean room but currently 4/2022 first floor under massive renovation so no first floor rooms available and some corriders with low light. Will be great when construction over. Would definitely stay again.

  Friendly staff, ground floor room with parking right outside your door. Nice, clean, comfortable room and beds. This was our second stay here. No pet fee and complimentary full breakfast.

  Somewhat convenient

  Convenient off interstate. Gas station on one side Cracker Barrel on other. Room was very clean. We enjoyed the king size bed. What was a nuisance, you couldn’t leave your dog in the room by them self. Had to sign a waiver. Hard trying to grab luggage, dog stuff and wrangle an excited dog when I’m only one person.

  Wonderful

  Friendly check-in, large room and clean. We had two entry doors, one to the outside which made it super easy to unload the car and to take our dog for a walk. The second door was a surprise as it granted us access directly from our room to the hotel to get our breakfast the next morning. We found enough green areas close by to play ball with our 4-legged child. We traveled with our dog and cat child. The cat loved the space as well. We will definitely stay here again.

  Great hotel! Prices lower than the big pet friendly chain hotels. Rooms are large and clean. Breakfast is included. It’s always nice when pet friendly hotels have vinyl tile flooring rather than gross carpet. There is a large grassy area for the pets, a Cracker Barrel across the parking lot, and a gas station convenience store just outside the front door. The minor drawbacks are that the hotel is near the interstate and you can hear the semi trucks rolling past, and also you can hear the freight trains blowing their horns on the distance. It didn’t keep me up at night, but if you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room on the back side of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again, with or without pets. All in all a great hotel at a very good price.

  Clean room, it didn’t smell like wet dog like some other pet-friendly hotels. Lots of grass for my boy to play and relieve himself. My only gripe was that you are not allowed to bring your pet in the lobby, breakfast area, and unattended in your room. Cuz it was just me and dog I had to leave him in the car while I grabbed breakfast.

  Loved this hotel. Room was spacious and clean, beds were comfy, staff was friendly, everything at breakfast tasted great. There was even a nice grassy strip behind the building to all the dogs around.

  Great Stay

  There are two Kelley Inns so make sure you find the right one, we stopped at the wrong one first, no big deal though. The staff was friendly, room was clean and quiet, we asked to be near the end since we were on the second floor which they were happy to accommodate. Would definitely stay again.

  Most welcoming pet hotel EVER!

  Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place! First of all, Tori, at the front desk is spectacular! Very genuine, pleasant, welcoming and enjoyable to interact with while checking in. They have a very friendly dog in the lobby and it’s very clean with a HUGE grass dog run area right along the parking lot. HUGE! Like park size.

  Thank you. This will be our stop anytime coming close to this area.

  Too noisy!

  Noisy. Noisy AC, noisy halls, noisy plumbing. Noisy. I could hear everything above and below me. The Room had a strong, perfumey smell though it was clean enough. The grassy area for dogs was nice and bags provided. I would not stay here again.

  Great Location With Easy Access!!!

  prefect place to stop for the night!! pull-up your car and unload right into your room with Lawns all around for the dogs and pool with water slide for the kids! just what we were looking for!
  lawn areas did have quite a bit of dog poop not picked up but otherwise it was great! Beds are comfy too! we stayed here twice on our trip to Montana, both coming and going!

  Get the First Floor!

  We'd never been here before, but needed a place mid-roadtrip. We took the cheap option, and opted for a 2nd/3rd level pet room. When we arrived, there was a minor cleaning issue with our room (they had a person in training that missed something - it happens/no big deal). They apologized and switched us out to a new room, on the first floor instead. So glad they did! These rooms not only have the secure entrance from the interior hallway, but also have an exterior door. So you can have the best of both worlds; walk inside down to the pool (it is Awesome!), or take your pup directly outside late at night. There is a HUGE grass area just to the west, near Cracker Barrel restaurant, and the parking area that you need to navigate to get there is large, open, and well-lit. We loved this place, and plan to return.

  This place turned out to be a really good stop in Billings. Friendly staff with a good breakfast and a separate entrance to the room from outside, so we didn’t have to deal with a stressed dog in a small hotel hallway. Highly recommend!

  Awesome Place For Dogs

  Our room opened both in the inside to get ice and take kids to the swimming pool and to the outside to take our puppy out to do his business. The amenities of a hotel with the parking convenience of a motel. Nice safe neighbor next to Cracker Barrel. Room was comfortable huge and clean (we had a king bed room with jetted tub). Our family loved staying here!

  This was a great hotel for dogs. I liked the two entrances, one that went directly outside and the other into the hotel). There was a pet policy to sign, but I didn't think it was unfair. I enjoyed my stay there and would stay there again.

  No pets on furniture

  Extensive pet policy, which includes no pets allowed on the furniture and animal control seizing your pet if they’re left alone (we’d never leave her alone, but have never seen such a policy before).
  Having direct access from car to room was great, except our outside door handle was broken so we could only unlock it from the inside, which meant having to access our room through the interior corridor first... so we could take our dog directly outside from our room, but then had to come back through the interior corridor. Bed and pillows were comfortable, the vinyl tile floor was nice (no carpet in the room). Breakfast was the worst we’ve had at a hotel, but we just grabbed something at a drive-thru on our way out of town.
  We didn’t feel this Kelly Inn was very welcoming of pets - when we checked in they said they weren’t aware we had a pet and seemed annoyed... and proceeded to go over their pet “don’t” list. We have stayed at Kelly Inns which we will definitely return to, this is not one of them.
