There were other dogs staying there, it was really full. But the walls were thick enough that we were able to sleep well in a crowded motel! That is saying a lot!

Our room was right by the stairs, and we could hear everyone going up and down all night, which stressed my dog & led to a sleepless night for both of us. The room also smelled unpleasantly of dog. But the bed was comfortable and there was a big breakfast spread.

This is an older hotel. It is convenient to the fwy and had parking for our 26' truck that is towing my car. It was very clean. The setting is in a dirt and gravel parking lot for the most part. They did have a large grass courtyard to walk the dog. There is a decent Mexican restaurant across the parking area that was quite nice.

Nice motel, clean, comfortable beds, free coffee in room, iron and ironing board, mini fridge and microwave. Hard floors so cleanup after dogs is easy. Our trip was only marred by someone who left about 5 pm, went somewhere, and left two yapping mutts in the room catty corner to us until 11:15pm. I'll stay at Super 8 again.

Decent sized room, decent amenities, no places for kitties to hide, which is a bonus--but there was cat litter on the floor from the previous guest's pet, as well as a little spilled kibble, and a huge wad of animal fur on the desk chair. In fact, the problem with the floor went beyond needing to be swept: it was a bare wood floor, but I quickly realized I was uncomfortable going barefoot: I could feel how dirty the floor was (and indeed, the bottoms of my socks were pretty filthy in the morning). The nonsmoking room also smelled faintly of smoke (which seems to be the case a lot of places). I was too tired to say anything about it when I checked in, but when I mentioned the lack of cleanliness to the front desk staff, the woman simply said, "Well, housekeeping needs to do a better job." I understand not offering a discount on the room (since I clearly put up with it overnight), but not even an apology? That seems pretty low to me.

I only give 2 bones because the people at the front desk were very friendly, and did try to help with the issue with the room. When we opened to door to the room, we could see dog food, dirt and a lot of dog fur on the floor. The bedding had been changed, and the bathroom looked fairly clean. There was shampoo in the shower, but no conditioner or soap. This wasn’t an issue for me, as I bring my own. But it is a standard for motel rooms. We let the front desk know about the condition of the room. The woman at the front desk came and swept the floor, sprayed some cleaner on the floor and went over it with a swiffer mop. The floor was still filthy, but she tried. It really needed to be completely moped. We ask about changing rooms, but they were not receptive to that idea. I wish I could post the pictures I took. We would not stay there again.
