We tried 3 rooms before giving up and deciding to drive through the night. The pet friendly rooms smelled terrible, it was clear that pets had urinated in the rooms. They also said that they did not allow cats, but our allergies made it clear that there had been a few. On the upside, the staff were very kind!

This was my first time in a Comfort Inn and I expected better out of the "moderate" level hotel. I was sent to a hotel room on the first floor -- which was actually a garden level so half of the level is below ground. I had to pass through two heavy fire doors and this ended up taking me from the relatively nice main hotel lobby and hallway area into what seemed like the ugly, unpleasant, dark, and forgotten wing that maybe they use for pet friendly rooms? I am not sure but it was disappointing. The curtains are fixed into place so it is impossible to close them all the way, meaning anyone walking past on the sidewalk and look into the room at any point. Additionally, the parking street lamps glow directly into the room, so it looked like a search-and-rescue-light was shining into my room (and face) all night.
I also heard a lot of noise throughout the night from the hallway and the shared walls, so it seems that the walls are thin. And at one point early in the morning it sounded like an alarm was going off but I think it was my neighbor's toilet. Breakfast was included but was mostly prepackaged and processed food. There was a woman working the breakfast room, though, who was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure everyone got enough to eat and knew the available options. I did not give it only one bone because the room did not smell, nor was the carpet wet, and the bed sheets seemed clean.

Room was just feet from the freeway. No grass anywhere for the dog. In addition to the freeway noise, the fridge growled all night long and the tv didn’t work. Need I say more. Don’t go here.

We stayed at 4 hotels on our vacation, this one was by far the best. Well cared for property, friendly staff. I was worried because our room faced the interstate, shouldn’t have been it was quite & easy to sleep. There is a pet relief area, with bags. A short drive away there is an off leash dog park (from Harrison turn right on Amherst & right onto Continental, then an immediate left into the park. Also from the hotel you can take a nice stroll on a trail (go under the interstate overpass & turn left, it is a flat paved path ideal for a jog, bike ride, or walking the dog.)
