Friendly staff, beautiful lobby and rooms. Good breakfast. 10 minutes to West Yellowstone entrance. Restaurant across the street called The Gusher has great pizza, chicken strips and salads. You will need cash for laundry and vending machines. The front desk will let you buy quarters and Tide pods. $2 for washer and $2 for dryer. There are several shops and restaurants within walking distance. Parking in front and back. No grassy areas though to walk the dogs by the Hotel though. Our dogs use potty pads though.

We were driving through West Yellowstone on the way to Big Sky and the Stage Coach Inn turned out to be perfect for us. The mid winter rate was $79 + $25 for our pup. Can't beat that. The room was small, but comfortable. The hotel was charming overall and offered breakfast with a variety of choices. The staff was friendly and helpful. We'd stay again!

This hotel was built in 1945 and has been updated but I still think it’s “rustic”. Our room was clean and comfortable enough. We slept well but there was zero dining options at the hotel. The front desk guy said go to Madison Lounge they have a great wine list and are dog friendly. They are not dog friendly and the wait was an hour long. I realize we visited at peak season along with a virus going on but come on!! We ended up at Slippery Otter which has no outside dining but they made an accommodation for our small Maltipoo and we were able to eat after a 45 minute wait. Breakfast was available but it was basically a line of people with no where to sit (Covid related issue) we opted out. Visiting National Parks is never pleasant but the beauty supersedes all the hassle of marginal food and rustic lodging.

We loved our stay at the Stage Coach Inn! The floors in the room were laminate, which made cleaning up after our cat (and her travel litter box) super easy. And we loved the unique lodge feeling of the inn, with its grand staircase and taxidermy decor. I would definitely recommend the Stage Coach Inn to anyone traveling through West Yellowstone with a pet.
