  Really lovely place

  A lovely, ground floor room with a small patio that had access to more green space. This rustic, spacious hotel/retreat compound is amazing. We had a nice walk in the eying on a walking trail, liked our room and would be delighted to return. All this and it's just 6 minutes from the best coffee in Asheville (Ultra Coffee)

  Nice hotel

  Room was very clean and comfortable. Nice area at the back of hotel to walk dog, we could go out our sliding glass door. I ordered the pork chop dinner from the restaurant and it was very good, fries were really good too.

  Okay place to stay

  The location is convenient to Asheville and interstate. Room was nice and restaurant/bar were very nice. Although promoted as being highly aware of cleanliness and the customer, there were a few things wrong with the room. There were cobwebs on the exhaust vent in the bathroom which is at eye level. Easy to see but overlooked by the cleaning staff. The clock radio readout was not displaying. The Keurig coffee maker in the room did not work after following the instructions on the machine. We left a note with the front desk. Hopefully they will fix these items and they will check all the rooms closer for problem free stays.

  Wonderful stay

  So pet friendly! Sat with our doggo out on the patio with fire pit, watching the sunset. Good food. Can sit in bar area with dogs. Ground floor rooms have sliders for easy dog relief.

  Great stay

  They were very understanding of our needs and our dogs. Saw lots of other animals staying as well. Gave her a bag of treats for a single night's stay and showed her lots of love. Was a great hotel for us and her. Had lots of walking paths and pet waste stations.

  Plenty of space for the puppy!

  I chose this space due to the amount of space noted and this did not disappoint. Beautiful paths for my puppy to get a walk in before we keep driving. Rooms were clean, a little out dated. The layout is a little confusing and unconventional, but easy once you get it. Pool was quiet and has a beautiful view. We’d stay again - without our puppy.

  Lovely!

  I really thought beautiful, affordable places like this one were a thing of the past. Our room looked out on the golf course and we felt totally welcome with our dog. Walking paths were among manicured grounds filled with lovely flowers. Delightful!

  Beautiful Hotel

  Loved being on the 1st floor with access to a grassy area just out the sliding glass door of our room to a nice patio. Was very quiet and a relaxing stay.

  Very dog-friendly room location

  Our room opened out (using sliding patio doors) onto a very large grassy area, that even had a poo-bag dispenser. The room had clearly been recently remodeled and looked very nice. We would stay again.

  Upgrade!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the crowne plaza with our pup! This was the first time we had ever taken her to stay at a hotel with us and we will likely stay here again! We had a room with a sliding glass door that opened right next to the dog walk area, so early morning and late night walks were very easily. The lobby and concierge was very welcoming to dogs and we got so many complements and treats! The only reason for 4 “bones” instead of 5 is the confusion at check in. We booked a king room. However, when we got there we were told there were no more king rooms available that were dog friendly. How is this possible if that is what we booked? I was on the verge of becoming highly upset when the concierge told me she would upgrade our room to a king suite at no charge! Despite the confusion they made it right and I was very pleased with that! I do worry however that this could happen again in the future. If the room was not upgraded we would have had a problem. Despite all this, we felt we were well taken care of and the hotel was clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the convenience of the restaurant on site. We could order food and wait in the comfy lobby by the fireplace with our pup. The food was also really good!

  Great Stay!

  We have a GSD and a husky/shep/beagle mix, and both were welcomed for a small fee. The staff was friendly, and we got the executive corner room which gave us a lot of space! It was right near the outdoor relief area - perfect and easy! The hotel is off the beaten path and backs up to a golf course, nice views! Hotel is a bit dated but very clean with a really cozy lobby with fireplace, bar and restaurant. Beds and pillows very comfortable! Great value for what we paid, super easy with doggos!

  Lovely Resort

  Very nice rooms and the common areas are well appointed. The hotel is clean and has a restaurant. It gets 4 instead of 5 bones because there is only one elevator per side and when people are checking in or out with luggage there is a line.

  Close to down town ashville

  We were close to all we wanted to do, so glad we did not stay in down town ashville with our pooch. Resort was well lad out and great for dogs! Max recived bones every time we went to front desk and he loved them! We did a king room and was spacious and very clean, so empresed! We were charged twice due to they said it did not show on there end ware we paid in full, even tho I showed ware I paid. Otherwise would of gave 5 bones. (Still waiting for money back from hotel)

  Such a great city

  Staff gets 5 bones!!
  Room was above average, but you could tell it was an older section we were in. Lobby area was beautiful. We were there in the off season so didn't use any of the amenities.

  Super Dog Friendly!

  The hotel was amazing and has the best setup for dog friendly rooms. The rooms open right out to a large grassy area. They even provide doggy poop bags. They welcomed Nola with a bag of doggy treats!

  They were able to accommodate us with a room with parking lot access. However the sliding door was in ruff shape. Hard to open and close. Other than that the room was great and the hotel was very nice.

  Great location

  This hotel was convenient to many Asheville spots. Lobby was beautiful. Too many yummy things to eat to try the food. Biscuits provided to my dog smelled yummy. Bed was comfy. Lots of great walking areas. Once things are more open post COVID, this place has lots to offer (massage, zip lines, pool).

  The Bomb for my Dog

  We stayed at the Crown Plaza Labor Day weekend with our golden retriever. I will write this review from his POV, he loved it. They put us in a 1st floor room which backed up to a forest and golf course. We took many long, long walks on the various trails around the property including a wooded trail right behind the hotel. Jason is my alarm clock and got me up each morning around 6:30am to go for a walk. We discovered the golf course just a short distance from our room. One morning we walked 2 miles around the golf course and Jason had a blast. They had a handful of poop bag stations and didn't require me to stay with Jason the hotel, like the Four Points by Sheraton was going to until we switched to the Crown Plaza. If your traveling with your puppy and need a dog friendly hotel. This is it!
