Holiday Inn Asheville Biltmore West welcomes four pets of any size for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Guests traveling with pets are assigned to rooms on the first two floors. King Jacuzzi rooms are not pet friendly. Both dogs and cats are accepted, and well-behaved pets may be left in the room unattended. Treats and bowls are provided, and there is a pet relief area with a waste station at the back of the property.

    Clean and comfy

    The staff were all very courteous and treated Norm (our Border Collie Husky mix) like the king he is.

    Convenient Location

    Room was very nice, recently renovated. Put us close to door for easy pet area access.

    Great spot

    We loved our stay here. So clean and easy. All dog-friendly rooms are on the first floor (facing the indoor/outdoor pool) with an exit that leads out to a walkway with dog waste disposal bags and trash. You do have to walk around to the other side of the hotel to get to the grassy area. Kiddos loved the pool and the food was reasonably priced.

    Nice stay

    I have stayed in both the east and west Ashville Holiday Inn properties and would rate the east property higher because of the dog trail and exercise areas, and the property is a bit newer and less worn. Rooms are still nice at the west property and staff was helpful. Pool was especially appreciated by the two legged traveler on this trip. I prefer the pet fee policy at the east property, vs the west property but both properties treated us well overall.

    Great stay

    The front desk was very friendly. There were plenty of other dogs staying, and they did a great job keeping the hotel clean. It rained multiple days during our stay, but there never was mud on the floors (and we went hiking rain or shine). The room was a little small. We had issues with a toilet not flushing well and house keeping never got to our room while we were out. The dogs aren’t allowed in the pool area, but there is space to bring a chair and watch if you have older kids. We were on the 3rd floor and had no issues making it to the potty.

    Good Location!

    Would like to have been closer to the Arts district and down town but it was only a short drive to all these places and the Hotel staff was super friendly, Clean Rooms, Enjoyed our stay!

    Comfortable and very dog friendly

    We stayed here with our two large dogs and were pleasantly surprised by how nice everybody and everything was. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!!

    Great location

    Nice hotel and location off interstate. Very loud groups staying at hotel kept us awake. Also no microwave in the room was a disappointment.

    Bad Experience at This Hotel

    The floor I was on had a dog that barked all night and they would not do anything about it.. the poor dog should not have been left in a hotel room. It also whined/cried all morning. They also put kids on the same floor as the pets and there were children running through the halls all night and the doors are super thin. I have stayed here several times and not had this issue. I reached out to the hotel twice and they won't even get back to me which is super disappointing. i could have looked past it if they had actually responded but they chose not to. Bad experience. I would try to find another pet friendly hotel or an airbnb if you are staying in Asheville with a pet.

    Nice getaway

    Check-in was easy, the check-in clerk made it fast and easy to get us to our room quickly. The hotel was clean and nice. The restaurant was still open when we got there. We had breakfast the next morning it was good but the variety could be better for people who don’t eat eggs. They offer pancakes, bagels, cereal and yogurt. I would like to have seen a waffle. Everything we got was tasty and plentiful. Zoie of course like everything she got no complaints from her. The dog area was nice for my Zoie to go out and use. We were on the 3rd floor, which I thought people with dogs would be 1st or 2nd floor. But it was ok. Zoie has never stayed in a hotel but handled it well. She didn’t care to hear the people closing their doors at night so she would let out a little huff lol. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy you got one soft and one firm pillow which was perfect. Plenty of plugs and USB ports to plug all your stuff in. Had extra pillows, ironing board, iron and hair dryer for you to use. The closet had hangers to hang your clothes. My room was facing on the inside so Zoie could look at people in the lobby. They had an indoor pool with a jacuzzi. They said on the sign that they had bowls for your pets. They weren’t in the room I am guessing you had to ask the front desk for them. My only issue was housecleaning the next morning started cleaning our floor at about 8:30 and then knocked on our door about 9:30 thinking we were checked out. We weren’t in no rush to check out before our 11 am time you would think the front desk would provide housekeeping with the rooms that had checked out and keep them informed when rooms are checked out instead of knocking on the doors. My only reason for giving it 4 bones and not 5. I definitely would come back to stay again.

    Nice set up for dog folks.

    I was very happy with this hotel experience. There were several other dogs staying at the hotel too , but the grounds were big enough for everyone.

    Very nice hotel with precautions in place for the virus. Entrance is difficult to see.

    Newly Remodeled

    Newly remodeled, nice room. Very clean and a large grassy area for pups. The indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub looked nice, but we didn’t use.

    Loud And Average At Best

    we are on the bottom floor which is great but there is an indoor pool in the lobby by our room (it’s an odd setup to say the least). it’s after 10pm. all we can hear are the sounds of kids screaming and it’s echoing through our room. thankfully our dogs are very well behaved but it’s loud and disturbing all of us and we have to get up very early. also the rooms are old. they are doing renovations upstairs so there are beds/mattresses in the hallways near the vending machine. there is only a very small area to walk the dogs. the room was clean. but nothing like what I was expecting based on the reviews. the beds move and my mom hurt her leg on a piece of metal sticking out from the bottom of the bed. on a positive note, the ladies at the front desk are very kind and courteous. also positive, is the location. the room has a mini fridge for our leftovers.

    Worked out great

    We brought 2 dogs, one is a black lab and the other an English Bulldog and were very pleased. The rooms were close to doors by the pet area and easy to access. We would stay here again. Very comfortable beds and good location.

    Smells wonderful!

    It passed my smell test! The hotel is a bit dated but very clean and the beds are comfy. The rooms open up to a common outside balcony. I was on the second floor with only a staircase to get up and down which is tough for single gals lugging a suitcase. Small grassy area to walk the dog but the hotel sits on a main road.

    Nice area to walk dogs

    We stayed 1 night with our 2 dogs. The room was clean, but dated and worn. They are soon updating though. The pet area was great, convenient, large and had bags available. Breakfast was the worst we have had at any hotel. Choices were fine, but the food was cold and dried out...obviously filled at 6 am and left. When you cannot cut french toast with a knife there is a problem!

    Very Nice

    Stayed here 3 nights December 2018. Very clean, nice indoor pool and hot tub, good breakfast, lovely restaurant for dinner. Great place near town!
