My mom was in town for a visit and we stayed for four nights in a room crawling with mold. We had to put our pillows on the worst spots on the floor so we wouldn't have to breathe it. Room service was awful, both the service and the food. I was so happy when the Hyatt Place Chapel Hill opened and accepted dogs! Everyone there is very friendly and it's clean with an amazing breakfast. And they always remembered my dogs' names! My Boxer was going through skin cancer treatment during my last few visits, and they didn't charge me for the blood he accidentally got on the white comforter. LOVE them.

Do not bring your pet here. We walked into a room with noticeably high humidity and dank air, which we thought would improve when we turned down the ac. It did not. The mold on the bathroom wallpaper was disgusting. Even the paper wrapping around the soap bar was wet and the sheets were damp. Because we were traveling with our dog, we stayed but the next morning we looked outside and were horrified to find a used poop bag on the patio of our room.
Do not stay at this hotel!
