  Nice, big rooms

  The hotel was clean and spacious with a hip lobby and no hassle check-in. There is a weird ‘destination charge’ which negates the super reasonable rate that they publish, and they do not guarantee the room that you book through the service.

  Not what they claim

  I was given a clean handicap room for myself and my dog for our 3 night stay on the 1st floor. The back door to the outdoor station for dogs to use is no longer open and now locked due to COVID. I appreciate the first floor, but still had to walk through the front door and back while the back door right next to me was locked. I had a 3 night stayed booked and paid in advance. My key was only good for one night.

  The 2nd day I went to the staff and told them I was booked for 2 more nights and they assured me my key was good for 2 more nights. Imagine my frustration when I tried to get back into my room and was locked out AGAIN. This hotel was clean. I felt like I got a handicap room when I didn’t need one because I brought my dog. The handicap room was very uncomfortable for a non handicapped person staying for 3 days. It was nice but I was disappointed.

  Great Place

  We have been on the road for several days, and this is the nicest place we have stayed. The staff is friendly and they welcomed our dogs. The attention to detail for people traveling with dogs did not go unnoticed. Our room was close to the exit door and a great potty spot. There are plenty of areas to walk your dog if you want to take a longer stroll.

  Excellent!

  By far the best and cleanest dog friendly hotel we ever stayed at! We absolutely loved our room, which includes a separate and private entrance to the doggie yard - which was enclosed and private. Mind you, that you do share this section with a handful of other dog friendly rooms. It makes taking your fur baby out to frolic a breeze!! No need to leave your room, and walk through the hotel in order to take Fido on their walks. The staff is incredibly nice and respectful of your privacy. We will most certainly be staying at this location should we visit Charlotte in the future.
