  The staff were friendly and very welcoming. The rooms were nice and clean. And it is a very dog-friendly place. In fact, a stray dog was wandering the area and they let him in the lobby to rest in the AC because it was so hot outside. They set out food and water for him too. The only downside was the walls are kinda thin and you can easily hear other people and the other dogs. Still, it's a good place to stay for the money.

  While promised a nonsmoking room that is not what was available. The room had cigarette burns on the bedspread, bathroom walls and other places. There were stains in the bathtub. Staff were friendly. Though the price was low, it wasn’t worth it.

  Second stay

  I asked for & rec'd 1st floor room, and room itself was fine. These are not new, but renovated rooms, so you'll find some signs of aging, but I have no problem with that. They have at least 3 poop bag stations, but it appears there are a number of dog parents who can't be bothered to pick up after there pet. And it's a small property for potty walks, so you are bound to find it one way or another.

  I don't blame the hotel for other people's ignorance, but it does fall to them to clean it up if no one else will. I'm giving it 3 bones because of the noise above my head most of the night. That, & the mini fridge ran loud. I did not report these issues. But I'd recommend this hotel due to convenient location, nice staff, clean room, & the light breakfast they put out for travelers. After 1st stay, I invested in a rubber back rug so my pup can get on/off the bed without sliding or hurting himself. The rug is now a staple in my trunk - I don't travel without it!

  Our stay was for one night and was perfect. Room was ready when we arrived check in and out was less than 3-4 minutes. Everything was very clean and efficiently handled by the staff.

  Horrible! Left in the doghouse!

  Had a reservation. No one was at front desk when we tried to check in. Waited for about 10 mins- no one there. Came back to car to experience a shooting in the parking lot where someone yelled to call 911. Soon police surrounded area- we couldn’t get out of the parking lot- part of a “crime scene” they said. An hour later- checked into neighboring motel. Called main reservation number to ask to cancel but was billed on our credit card for our room despite asking for cancellation. Now need to fight this- what a hassle! Horrible!

  Fast reservation! Excellent Beds! No smell!

  It was so easy to get a reservation and a great price, for a room for our 65 pound dog and us. We pulled right up to room 102 with double queens, frig, micro, desk and large shower. Simple but very clean and convenient! The new mattresses on the bed and pillows were fantastic! The blanket soft and comfy! I wanted to take this bed home !!! I just bought expensive mattresses that aren't as wonderful. Easy, clean, convent and affordable😊

  The first clue that something was amiss was when I checked in and the asked “cash or credit.” The front desk people were very nice but there was a lot of strange activity around the outside. The room needed repairs. Most concerning was the security latch on the door which looked like it had been forced open previously with pulled out screws and bent metal on the door.

  Do not stay here!!

  We lasted there about 30 minutes, saw one drug deal, had a guy in the room next to us come out totally naked, screaming, scared the hell out of my wife and daughters. Had other very shady people looking into our cars (they were packed since we were moving). We did get a full refund but seemed more like a halfway house than a motel.

  No dog area just a poop station. Staff not particularly friendly. Room was clean but bathroom wasn’t. Room was not very soundproof-people talking in the parking lot at 2:30 in the morning woke us and our dog.

  If you wonder what cloaca looks like then come and check out this filthy place. The rooms stink like ashtrays! If you care about your health you better stay away from this terrible place filled second hand smoke. Woke up sick next day! Not worth $90 per night at all, it should cost around $45 instead!

  Worst experience ever.

  We have used the same motel for the past 5 years and watched as it has worsened over time. This past visit saw dried spilled liquids outside each door. No attempt to clean up. A stained sheet led to dried vomit on the side of the bed and on the floor. The final straw for never using the facility again was a live roach running across the floor.

  When we checked in, the furniture was not clean, there were leftover drinks in the fridge, there was hair all over the bathroom, and the TV did not work. The manager gave us a different room. There was no TV remote, but he came and fixed it. No breakfast as was advertised. Still his customer service went a long way with me.

  Not only was the price right while traveling with 2 cats and a large dog, but the fridge and microwave were a huge help.
  Check in and out were easy and the pets loved the spacious room.

  Overall Nice

  The room itself was very nice and so was the front desk. First night was very quiet. Second time on the way back to sleep people were loud up until 12am, revving car, playing music etc. Also pretty sure people smoking weed outside. Cops were there in the morning so I guess someone had called on them lol I didn't feel unsafe or anything but was annoying because it made the dogs bark every time someone got loud outside that late.

  Convenient location off 95.
  Clean, friendly staff.
  Needs some updating, shower dripped all night & radio started playing static in middle of night.
  But all considered; clean, friendly & both dogs slept soundly 👍
  Questionable clientele, a lot of noise; domestic dispute in wee hours; screaming, door pounding!

  Rooms Are Basic But Fine For An Overnight

  The rooms are basic, two beds with hardwood floors and no carpet. First floor pull right up to the room which I liked. Plenty of grass space to walk your dog around. There’s no pet fee. It’s very basic but fine for an overnight stay. Easy access to the highway.

  Friendly Staff

  The staff at Fayetteville I-95 were extremely helpful and accommodating with my stay! I was moving from south Florida to Jersey City and was extremely delayed in starting my drive because of a rental truck issue. I let them know I was going to be later but didn’t expect I would be as late as I was! I did not arrive until 5am the following morning of the evening I was supposed to arrive. They made sure me and my animal family members were not left to fend for ourselves. They canceled and then rebooked my room in order to handle the required evening close out inventory on their side and to make sure I had a place to stay once I finally arrived. I’m so grateful for this!

  Overall, pleased with our choice to stay at the Red Roof Inn. It is certainly a plus that there is no pet fee! The first room we were issued smelled of smoke, but we received an alternate room that well met our needs. Pillows were a bit hard, but shower was warm and had good water pressure. Our dog had no complaints !

  Basic room, no carpet; nice grassy areas convenient to drive up room. Broken Door lock required multiple trips to front office due to lockouts but the one employee on property was very pleasant, accessible and efficient.

  I was able to do a long walk from hotel, as there was sidewalks and lots of green space.
  Only negative was room above had a small drip from ceiling. I reported but just used other bed.
  Very clean and front desk was very friendly!!

  Dated Property, Excellent Front Desk Staff

  We booked last minute due to some car problems. We arrived and check-in was smooth. When we got to our first room, we noticed one of the electrical sockets didn’t have a plate on it. This was a deal breaker for us, since I had a curious toddler with me. The front desk clerk kindly offered to change our rooms. Our next room had hair all over the pillows and bedding. My wife went to the front desk to confront the clerk, who was very apologetic and kind. She personally walked my wife to another room and inspected the room with her. The property is older, but the front desk clerk was an absolute Rockstar. I would stay here again, just based on the clerks phenomenal customer service.

  Great location

  We (the dog and I) stayed there on our way home from being snowbirds. The front desk personnel were incredibly helpful with names of restaurants in the immediate vicinity that were still open for take out or delivery (beyond the fast food chains). The hotel backs up to a little wooded area, so taking the dog on a longer walk wasn't an issue. The room itself was clean and tidy. All in all, a great place to crash for a night with a (large) dog.

  Convenient but not very clean

  The advantages of staying here is that they accept dogs and are located right off the highway. The staff is pleasant and checking in and out was very easy. The room however was dark, dated, and the floors were sticky. It was almost as if they attempted a cleaning but never rinsed the floor. The bathroom also had a dirty towel from a previous guest left on a hook behind the bathroom door . I might try them again figuring this might be a "one-off" experience but my stay was not very pleasant this time.

  Easy access to outside with dogs

  While this hotel was not posh by any sense, it was pretty good for a quick overnight with 2 large dogs. All of the rooms face the outside so it was very easy access in and out for dogs that don't do the greatest around strangers. There was a nice path into the woods behind and grassy areas to walk them. The only issue we had with our loving yet protective pups is that the sound from the outside and other rooms was very noticeable and we had a gruff or a bark most of the night when people would arrive, park or move around their rooms. The only restriction on your pets is that they are not allowed in the lobby and that is due to heath codes as that is where they serve their breakfast buffet, but due to the layout, there is no need for your pets to be there.

  We had a wonderful experience, very pleased with room size and cleanliness!!!! We have Great Danes and got the double queen room, it was very comfortable. Our only concern was the door handle, if you have dogs like ours that can open doors easily, please remember to keep it deadbolted and the inside latch thrown as well! The 1st thing our 1 girl did as soon as we arrived there is open the door, very scary...That's my only suggestion to our fellow dog owners or bring a free standing gate to put in front of the door! We were very pleased🦴🦴🦴🦴🦴👍😍

  Pretty Decent accommodations, excellent customer service!

  This motel was very clean, and suited our needs just fine. When we arrived, our TV was not working and the rep from the main desk personally came to our room to fix it right away. In addition, my daughter left a sentimental item in the room when we checked out and when we realized it was missing, we were 500 miles from there. I called the hotel and the same rep who fixed our tv answered the phone and was very caring. She did a thorough job looking for it for us. Although the room had been booked and new people were already checked in for the night, the next morning they checked the room again and the item was found. The wasted no time in putting it in the mail to us. Great service.

  Back behind the hotel there’s an area to walk dogs and let the stretch their legs too. Perfect place to let the babies potty!

  We had to move the bed for our son to sleep close to the wall. Under the bed was fuuuull of dust and dog hairs ... I understand that it is a dog friendly room, but the dust under the bed have nothing to do with dog !!

  There are woods and trails adjacent to the property. My dogs loved it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. It was nice to stay at a place where dogs are treated as real guests.

  Perfect spot!

  Halfway stop for us, 3rd time back. LeLe loves it there and is very used to it now. Great continental breakfast is a very nice bonus: Waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, sausage biscuits, juice, .... 😊

  Fine With Dogs

  The hotel was willing to take us with 3 dogs (40-50lbs each) which we really appreciated. The desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean.

  Excellent hotel with easy access to area for walking dog. No pet fee charged. Close to interstate and restaurants. Continental breakfast was okay but not great. Will definitely recommend to anyone passing through that needs dog friendly hotel

  - clean
  - good location (near highway and safe)
  - near to downtown (explore if you can)
  - the place has nice little exercise room and fairly nice breakfast area.

  What would make it better:
  - prevent smokers from smoking outside their room or near other rooms. Though rooms are non-smoking, smoke from outside comes in and makes room a smoke chamber.
  - mute the AC compressor.

  We requested a 1st floor and ended up on the 2nd floor....the room was clean but the AC is very noisy. We had trouble with the TV they came to fix it quickly but it stopped working soon after they fixed it.....we just gave up and went to sleep. we didn't have the free breakfast because we had to leave early.

  Really Nice Place To Stay
