    Rug free room

The rug free rooms are great. Air conditioning units worked well but smelled like mildew.

    Horrible Experience

My husband booked us at RED ROOF for an overnight stay. He read and made sure they accepted pets. When we got there, they charged us a $50 additional fee for the dog. There was no information on their website regarding this fee. He would have to intuitively gone to property website to check for an extra fee. He was upset by this unexpected expense, but checked in anyway.

Our room was supposed to be smoke-free. However, when we entered we were accosted by the smell of smoke. There were cigarette burns on the comforter in several places. Clearly someone had been smoking. Within 10 minutes my husband started to wheeze due to his asthma. So, he went to ask to change rooms due to the overwhelming smoke smell and concern for his health. He was told that there were no more pet- friendly rooms available. The only help they could give us was to refund our money.
So, at 7:30pm we were without a place to stay in Greensboro with a dog.

    Good location

Terrible facility. One bed had no blanket and there were only two very small towels for three occupants. TV remote didn’t work.
OK for our dog but cannot recommend for humans

    Great location.

Very nice huge room and king bed. It could have used a recent coat of paint.
