My review is mixed. The staff did their best but the facility has issues. There was a large field with a poo bag dispenser. So we could walk our dog and people seemed like they were scooping! It was next to a garbage & water filled something that was fenced. I had called ahead to try and arrange a room very close to a side door as our dog is easily frightened. Chris said he’d take care of it but when we arrived the room had been given to others by another clerk. He was apologetic but there was nothing he could do. The facility and our room was clean except for inevitable mildew in the bathroom.
The hotel had some major humidity issues as did the room. The hallway had a dehumidifier or cooling unit every 30ft or so. On arrival the HVAC was set to 67 - way too cold for us. I reset it to 75. Immediately the floor that was some kind of fake wood tile or laminate started sweating, walking around in stocking feet to change clothes my socks felt wet. The bed had a complete plastic sheet under the fitted sheet that crackled as we’d move. There are better products if the we’re trying to protect the mattress! he bath/shower was a jetted tub but the mildew at openings was off putting. The tub had been refinished and it was too slick! I felt like I was risking my life to shower - I’ve had showers refinished and there are ways to do this that don’t leave the floor so slick. The ‘breakfast’ was a grab and go bag of inedible egg & sausage or egg & bacon tiny biscuits with a muffin that exuded artificial flavors. We were pretty desperate when we booked this but won’t stay again. I’d drive another 25 or 50 miles.
