      Overnight stay with new puppy

      Would have given much higher rating IF Sleep Inn's pet-friendly rooms had been located on the FIRST floor (not the 2nd) and been more conducive to accessing a grassy area outside. Would have felt much SAFER with a fenced-in grassy area since I was traveling w/ a valuable 9 mos-old puppy I had just purchased and the car/road noises frightened him. Have stayed at other BringFido places (like the Ramada in Statesville, NC which was GREAT) where it was MUCH EASIER to walk from my room 2 doors away to an exit w/ an outside designated grassy area--away from the busy-ness/noise of the hotel entrance. There, it was much SAFER & more conducive to take a dog to "potty outside"...plus load the kennel in/out of car from 1st level room from my car in rear parking lot just steps away.
