Hotel lobby smelled of pot smoking. Had made a confirmed reservation for myself and my dog (small older yellow lab), and when I arrived the hotel the man and the woman working the lobby told me they do not honor 3rd party reservation requests. Even though I had a confirmation number, with a trip number for last night. I even had called earlier in the evening to confirm my stay there and was told that I was confirmed for a room with my dog. When I showed up later that night, the lobby staff told me they had no rooms that a dog could stay in, and at age 68 wound up sleeping for a couple of hours at a rest area because the weather was bad with low visibility. Do not count on this location for a stay with your dog, even with a room confirmation, it means nothing to them!!

It was clean and it was in a very small area. Denny's next door, two other hotels, and gas. That was it. Price was high and giving them $20 pet fee was a little crazy. All he did was sleep on the floor and in the car the next morning. But all in all we'd stop there again just because we know it's pet friendly.

Motel overall is tired and outdated. Our room was okay the best; the inside of room door was extremely dirty! Bathroom vanity had toothpaste on it from last guest and mirror had toothpaste on it as well. Bed was comfortable. Doggie area waste trash can was overflowing. Garbage all around the outside of motel. Will not return.

Dirtiest room I’ve ever rented. One bed had dirty sheets with dirty socks from prior guest!

Two of the four lamps did not work. Anything metal was rusty. Large stain on the bed cover. Shower not clean, dirt in corners. Very worn chair (only one in room). Could hear clearly conversation of folks in neighboring room. Truly very disappointed.

Room was disgusting. Floor was sticky and had not been mopped. Spots on tables. Faucet barely let out water. Toilet would not flush. I had to fix it.

No shower curtain, TV wasn’t working and customer service was non-existent. Thought I would try it out because it’s a little cheaper than another hotel in the area I’ve stayed in. Lesson learned.

I have stayed at several nearby hotels booked via BringFido and chose this one because the hotel we liked was sold out. The room was very tired, linens pilled and stained, sink was cracked. The fridge was encrusted with frost and general cleanliness was iffy. The table/desk was dangerously rickety and there was a very chewed up armchair in the room. I don’t recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay. Traveling with two dogs can be tough at nightfall. This stay served us well. Friendly pet owner staff. Pet friendly room in a pet friendly section of the layout with vinyl floors and easy to the outside without bothering anyone. It's what we wanted. Hardees was next door for burger lunch. Just off 95.

We stayed here for one night and it was right off the highway and there is a Dennys in the parking lot which is very handy for a quick bite to eat.

Baymont Inn needs an update but the rooms are clean and offer no rugs in the rooms. Which is a plus for dog owners also the rooms are conveniently located across from an unfenced dog walk area. This is not a five star but the rooms are quiet and the beds are comfortable. Good for a night stay at a good price.
