Great location. The room was clean, with microwave and freezer/fridge, beds comfortable. A good value for an overnight with a dog. There was even breakfast but coffee was only dine in, not to-go. Will stay again.

Room was very dirty and had a very unpleasant smell of smoke and unknown. It was a non-smoking room too. It smelled like they washed the towels and bedding with the smokers room stuff. Yuck. Definitely a cheap hotel and nothing special about it.

Room was clean and comfortable. Only issues were the address needs to be clearer and I was charged twice for the room. BringFido was great at working with me to help resolve the 2nd issue.

Was placed in a smoker’s room that had an odor. Wouldn’t want to have to stay for more than 1 night passing through.

The Econo Lodge North is right off Rte 95. The room was spotless and staff very friendly. There was no breakfast due to Covid. There was plenty of space to walk my dog.

Pros: Check-in was smooth. The location is conveniently right off of 95. The bed was comfortable. Reasonably clean room. Ground level access room.
Cons: The non-smoking room smelled like smoke a bit. Maybe just lingering from being a smoking room in the past or being near smoking rooms? The washcloth had hairs on it. The window/door was not soundproof at all so any noise from the parking lot or even loud passing cars could be heard in the room.
Did I get a good night sleep? Yes!
Would I stay here again? Probably not. Depends on how tired I am from traveling. - CathyMar 30, 2021Good location
We needed an overnite stop between Florida & New York, & Rocky Mount works. We have an older dog so prefer a ground floor unit with direct access to outdoors. Econo Lodge offered that. There were not many restaurants etc to choose from, but we were there less than 12 hours, so that didn’t matter. The hotel is old & the bed covers had stains on them. Next time I would probably choose another location at a different exit.
