      bed was great. everything else, notsomuch

      A really convenient location with McDonalds across the road, a Beer and Wine a block away, and a gas station/carwash next door. The service was nice, and the bed was fantastic, other than being quite high.
      Downsides: the rest of the room was very old, with serious corrosion on the faucets. The TV itself was good, but analog channels only and poor quality at that. The water is ice cold unless you run it for a few minutes (seriously - about 5mins before it was hot enough for a decent shower). The water pressure wasn't the worst we've had, but might be problematic for folks wanting to get shampoo out of thick hair.
      Breakfast was rough - there was one English muffin, a basket of red delicious on the brink of rotting (bottoms were mush) and cold cereal - fortunately, McD's was across the street.
      We've had much better stays at this price point (but to be fair, we've had worse stays that cost more)
