  Great Accommodations

  Our ground floor room was a nice size, and around the Inn there are plenty of grassy spots to walk your dog for relief. The only non-dog issue was that our T-Mobile cell service was very limited in the immediate area, but the Days Inn wifi was just fine.

  Okay place for one night

  Rooms are a bit worn and beds are way too soft/springy. We had ants in the room. Conveniently located off highway and lots of room for dog to do his business. No laundry facilities. Reasonable price for a so so stay.

  Nice stay

  Check in was very easy, while the outside 'dog' area was small and dispersed, it was available! room was nice and well cleaned. Should you stop at Grand Island, NE. Be certain to take you're dog to Dog Island off leash park, its awesome!

  Great price!

  We needed a place to stop to break up our drive, this place met our needs. It was nothing fancy, but the beds were comfortable and the hotel was quiet. We will stay here again.

  Dave at the front desk goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. It was a very pleasant stay. Highest recommendation!

  The property was very clean and the staff welcoming. Unfortunately the people staying above us were stomping around all night. Not the hotel's fault.

  Excellent value

  Check-in with friendly and helpful Dave who later called our room to make sure all was good. There are multiple small grassy areas for the pups. Secure entrance, good lighting and clean public areas. The double room was clean and comfy. Carpet had some prior dog damage (snagged areas) but acceptable. The room could use handy USB ports. Location right off I-80 but was fairly quiet. Would stay again.

  Just one night

  Courteous clean and quiet! Matilda was very comfy here and we ALL slept very well. Beds were nice. Not much to add— the price was right and the standards of habitation were exceeded. Oh, and I am pretty picky. We had some pretty yucky experiences with other places we booked unseen at “name” hotels as we were traveling prior to here. Stay here.

  Closed parking lot

  Room was decent, seemed clean but only double beds that need to be replaced. Plenty of grass for dogs with bags. Looked like a some remodeling had taken place maybe not done. Only parking available at the very front of hotel & my room was at the back. Breakfast options very limited. Staff was courteous. My opinion is that they shouldn’t have been renting rooms with parking lots closed. I prepaid so I had to accept the situation & make do. Definitely not a place for anyone towing a trailer as I was, they don’t normally allow tow vehicles with trailers to park anywhere in their lots. I had to park behind the gas station and walk a block. Was glad it was only for 1 night.

  Fine hotel, inaccurate map location

  Our stay was better and easier than expected. We thought this location was more in-town but turned out to be in a pretty desolate spot right next to the highway. Dogs did fine but we were worried with noise. Pretty old motel and could use some work. Staff was very nice, just not what or where we were expecting to stay.

  They supplied doggy bags, which was nice, but there really wasn’t much of a grassy walking area.

  Nice place for people and dogs

  The people working at the hotel were super nice! They put us in a room right off of an entrance door, for easy in and out to walk our pup. Overall we were pleased.

  Great for our 2 pups

  This was the last hotel we stayed at on our journey with our 2 dogs. First floor room between 2 other rooms (we highly recommend avoiding any room like the laundry room where the staff is working overnight). We were very pleased and the dogs were not disturbed at all. Plenty of grassy area for them to go. The hotel itself is a little dated but that didn't bother us or the dogs for our 1 night stay

  Definitely an older hotel but perfect for one night passing through on a road trip. The price was right, and ok amount of grass, not tons though. Very nice staff.

  Excellent No-Frills Motel

  This is an older facility, but very clean and well maintained. It's nice to have a microwave and refrigerator. Limited grounds for exercising pet, but adequte for them to "do their business". I will stay here again.

  Roomy and clean

  People were easy to work with. We got in at 2 am and they had our room ready. It was clean and had a good bit of room for both my pets. There was a patch for the dogs to walk with clean up bags. But the walls were thin and you could hear everything outside the room. I would stay again but we ask for a room at the end of the building.

  Affordable, nicely sized rooms

  We chose this hotel based on its location and price, but I was pleased with many things about the place. Nice, large room, clean facilities, nice staff. The towel are low quality, but we weren’t there for a spa day.

  Room clean. No stale smells. Everything worked and was stocked with towels. Some grassy areas to walk dogs. Good price for just a night stay close to Great Sand Dunes national park.

  Wonderful Staff

  Brought our two dogs to Days Inn Grand Island and received a great welcome, including from the guests! This is a great stop-over on our cross-country trips. Very reliable.

  Quiet stay, nice room!

  We stayed here on our way home to NM recently. The hotel is easy to access - right off of I80 - and the room was clean, comfortable and quiet! We had a ground floor room, which was helpful, and the staff were friendly. Not a lot of grass for walking dogs, but it was also snowing and cold the night we were there, so it was a quick trip out to potty anyhow. Would definitely stay there again.
