    Accommodating staff

    My husband lost his wallet in room. Staff was very helpful in getting it returned to him.

    Good Staff, Dismal Facilities

    Check-in was fine, but I was immediately struck by the long, dark interior hallways with massively stained carpeting. The room smelled like many a pet had stayed there, maybe going back decades. (My dog, an oldster long-haired chihuhua, probably sniffed every square inch of the carpet in that room.) A housekeeper at the end of her shift right outside my room kindly gave me a can of Febreze Heavy Duty; I think I used it up in the room. To be fair, the housekeeper also notified the front desk staff who had checked me in, and that staffperson offered to move us to another room. Since our stay was just one night, and with the luggage we had, I thanked her but declined. The exterior of the hotel is well painted but with minimal landscaping, adding to the forlorn vibe. As someone else has posted, the hotel is surrounded by car dealers, but there's a DQ and a Cracker Barrel nearby. I went local, and hit the "King Kong" drive-thru for a Chicken Gyro that turned out to be very good. The breakfast offering was weak - no hot foods except DIY waffles - and the coffee was weaker. Not a disaster, but I don't think I'd stay there again.

    Nice area to walk

    Stayed here with our lab. Minimal charge! Worried about area to let her run but found nice fields a block away. Sidewalks to travel around! At the hotel no there was also plenty of green space and she got sausage for breakfast!

    Smelled like wet mildew and old smoke

    I wish I would have paid the extra $40 to stay at a nicer place - yes this place allows dogs, but the dog-friendly room we stayed in was an old smoking room that felt damp and smelled like smoke and mildew, had a broken shower faucet that had been puttied back together, and the toilet seat was so loose it made a BANG every time someone sat down. The "dog friendliness" is just that you're allowed - but the person at the desk didn't do anything extra to make us feel welcome. Charged us $15 for having a dog, put us in a stinky room, forgot to tell me about breakfast, the pool, or where people walk the dogs. I can't blame her for not caring - I wouldn't. But we won't stay here again.

    Good Location

    Good place to stay off of I-80. Hotel is a bit beat up but the room was clean and comfortable. They do need to sweep the entrance to remove the numerous cigarette butts. Easy online reservation process and check in.

    Clean room. Friendly staff. There is a small area to curb your pet, but the hotel is in an area of car dealers and plenty of sidewalk to walk your pet

    Servicable

    Other than a challenging thermostat that eventually made the room comfortable, and a driveway that was nearly impossible to locate after dark, this stay (the third of four in a cross-country move) was so unremarkable we're having trouble remembering enough to rate it. Which makes it pretty neutral.
