Safe Stay: Candlewood Suites Lincoln has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the Clean Promise (IHG) cleanliness and sanitization policy. For this hotel to be recently remodeled they had a horrible construction company and quality control. I will not be back. I have stayed at plenty of Candlewood Suites to know this was a total disappointment.

Stayed two nights. Was promised a King Suite. Was given Queen semi-Suite. No refrigerator (just an empty space where frig was supposed to be). Never did get a refrigerator, even though they said they would get one to us right away. Advertised that hotel has been renovated. Not so...very run down. Had a bucket near lobby catching water leaking in from roof. Carpet in room stained, smelled musty, bed very hard, shower had so much pressure it hurt. Put us on fourth floor with dog. Overcharged and spent extra time getting it straightened out. Staff was polite, but not very well trained to handle situations. Manager nowhere to be found. Dog Potty area was mowed and marked well. No bags in dispenser. I honestly felt like I could have stayed at Motel 6 and got same service there for less money. BringFido.com was very helpful to assist with extra charges.

far from interstate but next to the biggest park in Lincoln. nothing special, like common areas. ok rooms. lots of non locals.

Construction workers have taken over the hotel and the parking lot. No smoking signs ignored. Not as clean as other Candlewood Suites.

We have stayed here before with our dog. This time we ended up on the 2nd floor, not convenient when a dog, and the room wasn’t as clean as the last stay. The coffee maker, for example was dirty, and the tv didn’t work. The bathroom needed to be repainted as well, the patchwork touch-up looked tacky.
