  Nice and comfortable

  We had a nice stay for the night. It was very clean and comfortable. There were plenty of grassy places to walk the dog, which was great. Would recommend.

  Traumatized!

  Within minutes of entering the room our dog found a rat poison chunk under the bed (which was identified by a friend I sent a photo of it to). I looked under the bed after removing it from her mouth to see all sorts of garbage, e.g. bottle caps, M&M’s and tons of wrappers. We also killed 3 wasps in the room. I went to the front desk with this information and was offered another room. Front desk and I went to different room to find all kinds of garbage under that bed also and the air conditioner didn’t work. She offered me a vacuum cleaner and I cleaned the room. I didn’t see the friend’s ID of the green chunk until morning and I immediately went back to front desk. Clerk called the manager and at this point we are being refunded for the evening. Horrified and still distressed by this. I wanted to give ZERO bones but the site won’t let me.

  Finally, a CLEAN dog friendly room!

  Great location, and CLEAN. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve arrived at a dog-friendly hotel to find the room practically falling apart. Not the case here at all. The room was updated and clean! Walking distance to a very kitschy souvenir place (not dog friendly). Dunkin Donuts right around the corner as well as gas stations.

  Bad service

  There was a “kid” at the front desk who knew nothing. Internet was not working. I asked him to check he said he talked to the hotel maintenance man. Then he said since it was the weekend it was too expensive to have the internet provider come out. I asked him to call and see if they could fix it without coming to the hotel. He stammered and did not give me an answer.

  Room not vacuumed

  I do not understand why a traveler with pets gets charged the same or more for a room as other travelers, YET, gets a dirty, non-vacuumed room, with only two towels of any kind. There was enough grass on the carpet to weave a small basket! Just because I travel with my best friend, doesn’t mean I deserve or want a filthy room. The bed was clean and comfortable. There was a small green space for my dogs to poop. Very basic set up.

  Fine room and helpful staff. Located right off of I-80, and 24-hour diner is just outside the door of the motel.

  Very dog friendly. Checkin process was easy. Room was clean, although the bathroom tub was a bit stained, but can't expect perfection from hotels right off the highway. Included a voucher for breakfast at the diner as well, which was super yummy! Would recommend for a night on a long drive.

  First stop on our way out West

  Easy to find location off I-80. Friendly desk staff. Pet friendly hotel. Grassy pet area not real convenient. It was in the back of hotel. No continental breakfast but they did give you a voucher for Penny's Diner located in their parking lot.
