Very busy spot off highway, not much “green” space to walk dogs. Small green near parking lot were littered with broken glass and trash, gas grills and chairs overturned. Appears to be long-term residence for some hanging out at entry doorways around building, loud throughout evening in hallways keeping dogs on “alarm” most of the night. Would probably would not stay here again, especially with pets.

When I arrived the hotel could not check me in due to some problem with a virtual token not being accepted from Fido/Expedia. After 30 minutes on phone, Fido reservation cancelled and refunded. I then checked In directly with Best Western. All good.

I needed a last minute hotel for me and my 2 big dogs (both 80 pounds each) during a long road trip. I think context is important because being tried, both physical and of driving, and separated from others in your party can impact your overall perceptions and experiences. Staff seemed a little annoyed (not rude, just bothered) when I was checking in, especially when reminding them I had dogs. No mention of where the dog facilities were located, didn’t offer treats, mumbled their way through the details about everything including breakfasts hours, and told me the wrong door to enter.
Side of the hotel where the parking is, is next to a tractor dealership so the space is mainly concrete rocks and dirt, not ideal for dogs to go to the bathroom for sure, but the dealership lights help you see in the parking lot when you park. My room was clean but a little tired, noisy (both from outside traffic noises and other guests), refrigerator didn’t work (found out in the morning when I went to retrieve some items), hotel is laid out a little funky (never found the elevator), and didn’t stumble across the grass area for the dogs until the morning. Once I stumbled on the grass area for the dogs it was really nice and decent sized! Last, the breakfast burrito I grabbed from the hotel breakfast bar was really good!

The front desk staff were great. They understand what is important when traveling with a dog including first floor near the potty are exit.

This was a very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our pets. They have a really nice grassy area for dogs to walk and do business on, which is crucial because everywhere else is dry, brittle and filled with those little round extremely painful stickers. Also very comfortable for people. Clean and very comfortable beds. Would certainly stay again.

Great location around tons of restaurants! Breakfast was great and the pet walking area was huge! First floor room is great for the dog and a park within walking distance right on the water. Would definitely recommend.

The rooms are basic, a little tired but clean. Grass around the hotel makes life easier to walk the dogs.

We arrived very late but the hotel was very accommodating. There is plenty of grass to walk your dog and potty breaks! They have a wonderful included breakfast which was a nice change from the same old packaged muffin and granola bar. It also seemed less noisy than other hotels.
