  Good stay

  Convenient option for I-80 travelers, close to fast food and gas stations. I believe pet owners are segregated in a convenient first floor wing with two non-lobby exit doors. This was my SECOND stay (Oct 2023), and I was assigned the same wing as in May 2023. There is a dog-walking area around the perimeter of the parking lot, with a poop bag station, but it wasn't really appreciated by my spoiled suburban dog who's accustomed to lush green lawns. There's a residential area behind the hotel that's good for longer walks. There are also parks within short driving distance.

  The room was very clean, the heat/AC unit was quiet, and I found the bed very comfortable. The only issue was that the LaZboy chair in the room fell apart in 3 pieces when I sat on it. I informed the front desk, but it really didn't affect my stay (AND I only paid $100 for a convenient night's sleep). I didn't have time to try the breakfast. Pet fee and maintenance issues aside, it was still a good value; a very clean, convenient option for the price. I'm a little puzzled by the previous horrific reviews, they sound a little grudge-y. It doesn't seem likely that I just got lucky - twice.

  Okay for a night

  The hallway did not smell that good. The color scheme was bright green, orange and purple, awful. The check in man was hard to understand. We booked a King and got a room with 2 doubles instead because he claimed all the king bed rooms were taken even though I clearly booked one.

  Not fun

  Dog rooms have no rug but linoleum floor. We had to put towels down for the dogs to sleep on. Outside area for dogs was plenty big enough but it was filthy with trash. Construction was going on which may upgrade the building but today there was garbage piled up outside the only available entrance. The beds were ok but they would not give us extra pillows.

  Disappointing

  La Quinta motels have had generally provided quality of accommodations. Not so here. No TV, no fridge, noisy AC. All these will be upgraded when the renovations are completed next year, we were told. That doesn’t speak to the here and now which was a disappointing experience. Another La Quinta in NE Omaha provided a far better experience.

  Convenient to I-80

  Rooms were clean but carpet well worn & stained. Parking area was very well lit.

  Tired shabby hotel

  This hotel was not cheap and was no value proposition. Shabby, tired hotel in a sketchy neighborhood. Understaffed, did not offer room service the weekend we stayed due to lack of staff. Bag breakfast was lame, checkout took too long, just not a good experience. Find another hotel.

  I'd give no bones if it were an option

  This hotel is absolutely disgusting...the room and hallways smelled strong of urine, that it literally made my partner vomit. Nothing in the room was clean, like not one thing. I would never stay here again, but as I was traveling with dogs, I didn't have many option. Avoid like the plague.

  Not a nice stay

  Room was dirty—stains on rug and bedspread, tv remote needed fixing, no microwave or fridge, spiders in bath tub.

  Tolerable

  2nd time stayer while passing from MI to CO.
  La Quinta is a tolerable solution for those with many animals, dirty animals or loud animals. It is not necessarily the establishment's fault but there are always questionable people hanging out by the doors smoking. The "non-smoking" rooms smell of smoke, However, the room was clean with plenty of comfortable pillows. Loud throughout the night so I bring ear plugs. I feel safe enough (probably due to my 180# dog). The coffee maker is always broken. Good, clean grass area for the dogs to go to the bathroom. Good location off the highway. Close to coffee and gas so you can go in the morning. Definitely worth the small amount that you pay for it.

  Do not stay here

  If there was an option for zero bones I would have put that. Between the pee/stains on the carpet, hair in the bed, diss functional bathroom, and questionable clientele, I would’ve been more comfortable/safer sleeping in my car on the side of the road

  A bit rundown, but made up for it with a good ie pup bag

  We’d stay again. The price was right, room clean, if a bit shabby. Staff friendly, designated area for dog pottying, bags supplied.

  Scary

  Just don’t. I am not a hotel snob what so ever. People in the lobby and hanging around outside appeared a bit scketchy to say the least. Not much sleep for hubby and I as we worried about our vehicle most of the night. Run down area of town. Just don’t stay here. Did not feel safe at all!!

  Very nice. And beds were comfortable. Nice room on ground floor with some loveseat sofa.

  Comfortable older property

  Very comfortable, especially for the price, but know that this is a much older property in a not-so-great area. The property is old so the bathroom door was peeling, the windows were crusted, there was no refrigerator, and the breakfast was one of the skimpiest I’ve seen. The best feature was the staff who gushed over my dog and gave her a goodie bag.

  dirty

  The hallways smelled busted and like cigarette smoke. The room was mildew smelling, the carpet was wet by the window. Other then being a dog friendly hotel, I am not impressed. Will never stay here again!

  Comfortable Stay

  The staff was very friendly and welcoming, they even had doggie welcome bags with treats and "waste" bags. The room was comfortable and just what we needed after a long drive. The only problem was that the nonsmoking room seemed to be near some smoking rooms and smoke would filter into our room during certain points of the AC cycle. This was really not a big deal for us though and we would definitely stay again.
