  Great Overnight

  We enjoyed the one night we stayed. The standard king room had enough space for two large soft dog crates. The paid gated parking lot was also nice.

  Actually dog friendly!

  So we have a large dog, 68 lbs but well-behaved and not a barker. It was very nice to have no dog fee or size limit. They gave us a tag for the door to let the staff know there was a dog inside. I hate it when a hotel says they are dog friendly but when to get there it's obvious they are not actually happy about it. We felt like our pup was welcome at this hotel. The bed was comfortable and I liked the atmosphere.

  Great Stay!

  We had a great stay. Traveling with 2 big dogs can be tricky, but being able to bring them to Magnolia and order dinner directly to our room was as convenient as it gets! Not a ton of parks nearby but there are a few grassy areas within walking distance for bathroom breaks. Overall great stay and convenient when cross-country traveling.

  Six out of five bones!

  Everything was perfect! The hospitality, the location, the bed, the food and the ambiance made this hotel our favorite on a cross country road trip.

  Very dog friendly!

  Even though we got in late, we received a very warm welcome. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. Very cool building.

  Lovely hotel

  Everything was great! The staff were all very warm and welcoming and gave treats to my dog. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. And the whole building is cool and historic. Plenty of easy cheap street parking available too. There's not a lot of grass immediately outside the hotel for walking the dog, but there was a tiny park with mulch maybe half a block and then behind the hotel about a block or two away there was some grass. Pretty typical for staying downtown in a city though. Would definitely recommend the Magnolia!

  Beautiful

  Beautiful and very dog friendly hotel with great food and atmosphere. The area doesn’t feel the safest at night so paying for parking in their private lot seems to be what most guests with cars do.

  Neat Little Spot

  Good overnight. Comfortable beds, clean room, fairly quiet. Right in the middle of downtown. Glad there was a restaurant on site but prices were a bit high for the quality of food we were getting (4.5 star prices for what I would say is 4 star food).

  I love this hotel!!

  The Magnolia is in a great spot in old market downtown Omaha! It’s charming and a little fancy, super dog friendly and a short walk to dog friendly spots to grab a bite to eat. Our room was a single queen and it had lots of extra room for the pups. They played a bit in the room with their toys. Very nice staff, very easy to use BringFido, super happy with this choice. We will be back!

  Road-trip for Lucy

  We took a road trip from Denver to Madison and stopped for the night at the Magnolia. We stayed in a king corner room and it was great. Walking distance to the downtown area where there are many restaurants, bars and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful! We did valet park for $25 vs parking on the street. The property is located in the downtown of a large city so there will be some noise but didn’t bother us at all. Staying again on the trip home.

  Perfect!

  Such a great stay on my cross country trip with my 2 Goldens! After spending so much time in the car, it was nice to be in walking distance from a great park! The hotel is so clean.

  Smooth and Restful

  The BringFido rep was amazing and booked this hotel for my brother and his German Shepherd. He checked in smoothly and had a great night of sleep before continuing on his road trip! Great experience for everyone all around.

  We drove 14 hours through a blizzard and the staff welcomed us and valet was available for our car so we were very happy! The restaurant was not open because of the weather so we had to order pizza; we were disappointed we didn’t get to try the menu but a great/quick stay. Comfy beds. Lots of dogs. Good spot.

  Awesome hotel. Amazing staff..AND FRESH HOT COOKIES!

  Best hotel I've ever stayed in while on the road. Caters to people with pets. Highly recommend. Will stay again if in Omaha ever again.

  Beautiful hotel

  Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The people in reception and at the hotel were very friendly. Very comfy beds. There wasn't a lot of places to walk the dog around the hotel, but a small park nearby. But, great stay.

  Historic Omaha Downtown

  Staff was very friendly and helpful! We forgot our pups dog bowls and they supplied us with some along with milk bones and poopy bags! Room was clean, spacious (stayed in suite) and updated. We were on the first floor and had a lovely view of the courtyard! Bed was cozy. Bar located in hotel is great if you don’t want to venture out. Plenty of great restaurants around within walking distance or you can take hotel shuttle if available. Would be a 5-bone except that there is not much area to exercise/potty your pup in the immediate area. We would stay here again!

  Very Pet friendly

  This hotel is terrific if you are traveling with pets. Rooms are nice and you can have them with you in lobby and outside in the restaurant. Minor issues are not a lot of areas for pet relief and parking is either a $25 valet cost or good luck with city parking. Still, we would stay here again. Very nice staff.

  Cozy hotel with wonderful bedding and staff very welcoming to our little dog. Area out back for quick potty breaks. We enjoyed our stop on our long road trip at this hotel!

  Lovely hotel, quiet and quaint. However, there really isn’t anywhere to walk your dog. Minimal green space. Overall good experience for an over nighter.

  Pet relief area on main street with artificial worn turf and they were about 4' round "circles". Not a good place for a big dog.

  Loved breakfast

  We loved this hotel overall. The beds were really cozy and the location was great. We especially loved the restaurant/bar and had a great breakfast in the morning. There isn’t as many grassy areas as I expected but we still found some places nearby. Would recommend for sure to anyone passing through or staying a few days.

  You won’t be disappointed!

  Friendly and hospitable Staff, easy check in and very comfortable and spacious room. Beautiful Hotel! Easy to take the dog outside as well. We wished we had more than a quick overnight stay!

  Poor service

  My husband believe it deserves -1 but some of it was partly us. We got there at 4 in morning just wanting to sleep and there wasn’t anyway to park the car. It had to be valeted and it took them awhile to check us in due to the fact we checked in late. We had never had a problem with a late check in. The front desk took forever to figure out how to check us in the next day. Then she proceeded to tell us the wrong room number only to get a call once we got to our room saying we had to come back downstairs. Overall it was just a complete mess. I will say it’s in the heart of St. Louis so we could walk to places. We also got our valet price cut in half due to us checking in late. I probably wouldn’t stay here again but it was also one of the cheaper hotels.

  Beautiful Hotel

  All the staff were friendly and welcoming to our two large dogs, even welcoming us inside the restaurant. After a long day of driving cross country we were so relieved to be able to have a good dinner without having to leave the hotel, sleep in amazingly comfortable beds in a beautifully restored hotel. Stark contrast to our usual chain hotel stays and fast food dinners. This will become a standard stop in our cross country trek in the future!

  Perfect way to end our trip

  We had been traveling for three weeks with two goldens. We are so happy we chose the Magnolia for our last stop. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and beyond helpful. We were all exhausted and nearly teared up to learn there was a bar and restaurant on site. Even the dogs felt pampered. Would 100% stay here anytime.

  Excellent 5 night stay

  Had a marvelous time. Everyone seemed to have a dog staying with them! Popular place. Recommend (drive) going to the renovated Leahy Mall off leash dog park by the Old Market or Hanscom Park dog park. Grass around the hotel limited.

  Great hotel

  We loved this hotel! They were so friendly and welcoming. We brought our 65 pound dog and there were no issues. He loved the room, it was very spacious (we did the 2 queen beds). They had a restaurant on the main floor and a beautiful patio. Definitely recommend this place!

  Beautiful, classy old hotel

  I was heading back east from a cross-country road trip, decided to land in Omaha for the night having never been there. This place really surprised me how nice it was, you can tell somebody poured their heart and souls into remodeling it. I believe it was in an old bank turned into a hotel. I highly recommend this place!

  A touch of class

  Downtown location is not THE greatest, but the hotel is worthy of five bones. Great room, great service, great bar, great room, and wonderful friendly staff. Reasonably priced with service and accommodations rivaling much more expensive hotels.

  Great location

  This was our first hotel stay with our pups and overall we are very pleased with our experience. We have a 14 lb and a 65 lb dog and there was plenty of room for both crates in the room. The area for the dogs to potty is behind the hotel which is easily accessible. However there isn't much grass, just mulch. Luckily, there are other pet friendly areas a short walk from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

  Great hotel

  Lovely old hotel just a couple blocks from old farmer's market. Front desk was friendly and helpful with suggestions. Bar and restaurant were dog friendly. The room was spacious and a comfortable bed. Would stay there again.

  Lovely Historic Property

  Lovely old building on the National Register of Historic Places. Front desk staff was excellent and even greeted my dog when we came in. Was able to take my dog out the back area to relieve himself. Small area but served its purpose. The wide hallways like you find in old buildings gave my dog extra room to move around in which I know he enjoyed. No weight restriction for dogs.

  Beautiful Hotel

  Our room was comfortable, clean, and it was a pretty hotel. They gave us a room closest to the exit as requested, so that was easier to get our pup in and out. It was a little pricey and didn't have breakfast, but it was a treat. Oh and the front desk person was very nice and helpful.

  Dog relief area not huge but accessible directly out the back door (to parking/valet) of hotel. Cute door hang too to alert staff/anyone knocking the pup is in the room!

  Beautiful Hotel in prime location

  Loved staying at the Magnolia. Everyone was hospitable and super helpful. Room and hotel felt extra clean. Was very happy with how they have responded to the covid epidemic. Would definitely stay here again!

  Perfect for us and our 2 dogs!

  We stayed a couple nights at the Magnolia a couple weeks ago with our two bulldogs and we loved it! We stayed in a suite on the first floor (in the back of the building). It was super easy to access (no stairs or elevators required). Being in the back with the dogs was perfect -- they had a nice view of the courtyard, and weren't subject to constant foot traffic by the room (as it was in a separate wing).

  The suite was very spacious and newly renovated -- the living room had floor to ceiling windows facing the courtyard. There was a small wetbar area with a microwave and a fridge. The countertop was high enough we could store all our dog food there without worrying our dogs would get to it.

  The bedroom was comfortable - the king bed was not too soft not too hard -- the room was very dark (perfect for sleeping). The bathroom had a real door (not the sliding door many reviews complained about).

  The best part for us was the accessibility to Old Market. We walked the dogs down there twice. It was a perfect walk for us with all the shops and restaurants for the dogs to peek into only a 10 min walk away.

  While the front desk did not offer treats or bowls, we always bring our own so that is not important to us. What is important is a hotel that will allow us enough room for the crates, a hotel room that is quiet/soundproofed enough for the dogs to be peaceful, a hotel with easy access to interesting walks, and a hotel that will allow us to leave the dogs behind when we go out for dinner. This hotel was that for us -- so 5 bones!

  (Also, Omaha was a really cool city, so glad we had a chance to explore it!)
