  The location was great! The hotel is a very short distance from Cabela’s, which is a great place to walk your dog! There is also a restaurant next door. The room was clean & comfortable.

  Great choice for dogs

  Nice rooms with vinyl floor, close to exit door. Lots of grass. Can walk down to Cabelas on interior road to exercise dog.

  Amazingly friendly staff!

  I don't think I've stayed at a Best Western as nice as or as friendly as this one. We had a great experience. Super pet friendly and just super friendly all around! Even had a hot breakfast, which isn't easy to find anymore.

  Front desk was calm and helpful

  My booking didn't come through, but Anita calmly and pleasantly worked through the problems. We got a clean, quiet room on the ground floor close to an exit. Vinyl floor. Some of the outlets on the lamps didn't work. Nice green area to play.

  If you have to pull off Hwy 80 for the night this hotel provides a no frills room for you and your pooch.

  Reasonable value for the price

  Room was clean and in good condition. Good variety for breakfast and the food was acceptable. Staff were friendly. I would stay there again on a future trip.

  Great hotel

  Staff was friendly. Clean room. Comfy bed. No issues. They only charged us one pet fee even though we had two pets. That was nice of them. I would definitely stay here again.

  Nice location & facility

  Lobby is very nice and clean. There is a large grassy area outside for the dogs. Front desk was very nice. Our room could have been cleaner - one of the beds linens did not appear to have been cleaned.

  Fastest easiest check in. Pet rooms seem to be near the far doors which made loading and unloading easier. Quiet.

  Deserves more than 5 bones

  Beautiful lobby, nice beds and bedding, lots of pillows, pet rooms near exterior door, good grass area for potty trips, nice Applebee’s conveniently nearby even though it isn’t my favorite, near Cabela’s and their headquarters. Standard hotel breakfast. Convenient to I-80. I would give it extra bones if I could. My traveling companion declared it the nicest pet friendly hotel where we have stayed.

  We stayed with our 2 Doodles overnight when passing through. Friendly reception, early breakfast so we were able to get back on the road, pet rooms convenient to exit on first floor. Room decor is dated but no complaints for one night.

  We were late trying to reserve a room. The staff was very nice and helpful. Our doodle was treated like a princess. Would definitely stay here again.

  Great price!

  The place was in a good location right off the freeway. It was nice inside with a pool and continental breakfast. They even had omelettes! The pet fee was only $20 for my three dogs!!!! Staff was nice and there were good places to toilet my dogs.

  It doesn’t get much better than this on I-80!

  Great stay! Very pet friendly — lots of open spaces for dogs to run and play. Great room — very clean and comfortable. Applebee’s nearby and a Cabela’s just a stones throw away. Extremely friendly staff. Room was not ready when we arrived (about 4:00 PM) but they waived the pet fee for the night as compensation. I’d stay there again in a heartbeat!

  Gem in the middle of NOWHERE, NE

  We got stranded during a blizzard and checked into this hotel located literally in the middle of nowhere. If you get stuck I HIGHLY recommend it. There is nothing around for hundreds of miles, but it serves a purpose. Dogs are fine with pet fee of $20/night. Rooms were clean. Staff was helpful and understanding of the situation of all wayward travelers. There is a pool and hot tub. The only real issue is that they do not care if barking dogs are left unattended so I did have a spat with another guest over being awakened by her dog. Management did not take issue with her choice. I believe that if your dog cannot be left because it will throw a never-ending fit then it should not be. Mine does not bark when left. The "unattended dog" rule is hard, but should be fair to those who want to sleep at 6am.

  Clean, convenient location, & cabin feel.

  First time using BringFido.com and room was clean, beds comfortable, easy check in process. Lots of grassy areas for pets. Open parking lot for RV’s / trailers and easy access to restaurants and gas stations. Cabela’s is right next door which is pet friendly. Would stay here again!

  Deferred maintenance issues in the rooms; shared areas nicer. Broken ice machines. WiFi problems never resolved despite telling staff.

  Sidney is a consistent stop for distance, freeway travellers. Despite problems noted above, this is one of the nicer affordable options for folx with pets. The proximity to paved walking paths, the beautiful grounds of Cabella's and a pond is wonderful for those of us traveling with furry companions.

  Best stay on roundtrip cross-country drive

  My husband and I traveled from California to Rhode Island and back this summer with our two dogs (80 pounds and 40 pounds), spending five nights total in hotels. This was the best hotel we stayed at, for its combination of pet friendliness and location. First there is a nice, clean, and spacious grassy area with trees where the dogs could relieve themselves at the back of the hotel. Second, there are ample places to walk your dogs. We walk them almost three miles every day at home, and we tried to at least get out for 30-45 minutes before we got in the car for 10+ hours. This hotel is located near the Cabela’s headquarters, which has nice walking paths all over its property. There is also a small pond across the street with a path round it for a shorter walk (just watch out for all the goose poop). The room itself was clean and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and decent towels. They offered a small breakfast, which was mostly pastries and fruit. Since I am as food-oriented as our dogs, I always tried to find a place to stop that was near a restaurant where we could get decent take-out food, not fast food, for dinner. Just a few miles drive away to downtown Sidney I found Sam & Louie’s where I got pasta with an amazing spicy garlic sauce that I still think about.

  Love!!

  I loved our stay. The staff was amazing and made sure we were on the first floor (our dog has issues with stairs). The decor in the lobby was very log cabin, which I enjoy. Absolutely zero complaints.
