    Great hotel

    Stopped over on way to Maine. Have 2 small dogs, it was a nice, clean hotel.

    Rude and unprepared

    Overcharged for pet fee until I spoke with the manager and said I'd take it up with Wyndham. I was told by the GM that the owner set their own fees despite Wyndham and La Quinta's published policy. We had to request linens and the hotel was completely out of soap. No bar soap or liquid soap, so we were offered extra shampoo. There was pet hair piled in corners where it hadn't been cleaned regularly. There was a hole in the ceiling where the tile was coming off. The front desk staff was rude and arguing with each other in front of guests. Coffee canisters on the breakfast buffet were empty. There were two pros: quiet street and hot water.

    Boo Boo

    We booked this location thinking it was Salem, MA and it ended up being Salem, NH. We were disappointed at first then we went inside and we got this great feeling of peace. Sort of when you feel you’re right at home. Yup, just like that. Everyone was sweet and welcoming. Then we brought Hachi and Suki our American Woolly Akitas and people went out of their way to say hello to them. This included the staff. Wonderful people. I’m traveling RN and right now I’m thinking of booking this place for the next three months. Even if they don’t have a kitchen. Thanks you for making us feel welcomed! Nonna, Papaw, Hachi, and Suki

    Very clean and nice

    Louisa at the reception desk was helpful. I did not give it 5 bones because the cable channels were very limited, and my husband was frustrated not being able to find his favorite news and business channels.

    Clean rooms, safe area

    We enjoyed our stay. Room was cute and modern, definitely kept up. Grounds were clean, staff was kind. One bone off for the broken elevator and subpar continental breakfast.

    Great Hotel!

    They had us on the ground floor, two doors down from a side exit, plus their rates are great, and no pet fee. 5/5 I would stay here again gladly!

    Excellent pet-friendly hotel! Highly recommend!

    We are traveling cross-country (NH to OR), and we were very weary our first night of travel, so we searched BringFido for a good hotel to stay at with our two dogs (a 70-pound Golden Retriever, and a 35-pound Shiba Inu/Husky mix). Very reasonable room rates, friendly staff, very CLEAN hotel, pet relief area outside with poo bags and waste disposal, and no pet fee! Big dogs accepted as well!
    We will be using other La Quintas across the country to accommodate us and our pooches ☺️
    (Just remember, it is COVID time, so amenities like breakfast and housekeeping aren’t available, but the place is so clean and friendly 🥰)

    Clean, safe, and beautiful room & hotel

    Checked in pretty late and the staff behind the desk was friendly and helpful. The room was far away from the main desk - bonus - and had direct access to the side yard for my dog to use. Bed was a gelfoam type mattress which took a little getting used to but still got a great night's sleep. I definitely recommend staying here if you have a pet (or not).

    I've stayed in many La Quinta hotels around the country and generally find them pretty nice. This one was clean and the staff was super friendly, but seemed pretty run down. There was no vent fan in the bathroom and the bed was a creaky metal framed deal that squeaked with every move. There were smokers ashtrays right by every outside door so on the first floor it smelled like cigarettes and occasionally made the smoke alarms beep.

    Worth the extra $$$

    Stayed here one night. The room was carpeted, spacious, clean and the beds were comfy. The complimentary breakfast was quite good with a very big sekection. Would definitely chose this chain again with it without doggos.

    Excellent Service And Rooms

    Upon arrival the General Manager Joe Maunsen checked us in. He accommodated our needs in a professional manner. The room looked brand new, the facility was clean and well maintained and the grounds were in excellent shape. Definitely will stay here again. In the morning the breakfast was exceptional. Well monitored and maintained. The hotel was full, but the staff was attentive. Very pleased.
