This location had a nice, big room. However, it was noisier than some of the others because the rooms all opened into a hallway. Not any grass for the dogs, but it is New Mexico. So there isn't much to do about that.

After driving from CA for 12 hours, got there at 3am and they had canceled the reservation, no call no nothing. And the person at the counter was really rude, not willing to help at all.

We checked in late, so we called ahead. The person I talked to on the phone was helpful and friendly, as was the person who checked us in.
However, the room was only marginally cleaned, the "security" door on the end of the hallway was unlocked at night but locked during the day (room key would not open), and garbage was piled four feet high in the hallways on both our (second) and the ground floor. The bathroom was visibly dirty, and the shower knob was loose.
There was also no furniture in the room beyond the bed. The pictures show TVs, lamps, chairs, a window cushion, etc... this was just a bed and a shower. That's all we needed as this was a road trip stop on the way to a destination, but this is not somewhere you'd stay on a vacation.

The Motel 6 had everything we needed for a night with our dog. Nothing fancy, but with no dog fee and with them allowing big dogs, it was just what we needed. Grass isnt common in this part of New Mexico, but thats not unique to Motel 6.
All doors faced inside. We had a room facing away from the parking lot and facing I-25, but the freeway noise was mostly blocked by a large dirt berm, and I slept great.
