The hotel was clean and quiet, with a decent breakfast. Not too much space to walk dogs, so if you stay a few nights I recommend Hillcrest Park for walking trails. The Clovis CC campus is about a quarter mile north and that is a good spot as well. The area around the hotel looks a bit sketchy; this is not an attractive part of Clovis. However, I did feel safe and the staff at the hotel were great. There are decent fast casual restaurants not far away on N. Prince St. so there are food options pretty close by. We were in Clovis for an agility trial and I think this is the only good hotel option for dog people in Clovis right now.

We were able to get a room on the ground floor two doors from the outside door. We were greeted with bottles of water. The breakfast was good and everyone was so friendly.

This is one of the better hotels we have stayed in with our dogs. Staff was very friendly and granted our request for a first floor room since we have one older dog that can't do stairs and another dog that doesn't like elevators.
