  Kind people and comfortable bed

  Before arriving at the Quality Inn, we had had one of the most hellacious road trip days ever.

  When we arrived, I actually didn’t have high hopes about a comfort level, I was just happy to be off the road at undercover.

  Awaited my dog and I was lovely.… com I already felt rested just hearing his voice. Our room is clean and spacious, was super comfortable.

  Thank you, Quality Inn for rescuing a really, really bad day.

  Allowed 3 dogs

  This hotel allowed 3 dogs (not the case with other hotels in Grants) with a price of $20 per dog, but they did not charge for the dogs the 2nd night. Poor area to walk the dogs, just the back lot and dirt fields. It was clean with friendly staff but an older hotel and the electrical outlets were worn so it was hard to find one that would accept charger plugs without falling out. Fan in the bathroom was not working and the toilet seemed like it was for a child. Dogs did well there, however.

  Not bad

  Breakfast was good. Nice area to put up kennels in the room. A little noise with people walking down the hallway and the room above us.

  Adequate room

  This place is very average. Rooms were old but large. The biggest complaint is there is no grassy area anywhere near for the pups to potty. Just a blacktop/gravel parking lot and the edges have either big rocks or weeds, but caution that the weeds have thorny little things that get in the dogs paws. I wouldn't choose to stay there again.

  Friendly, easy check in. Good fresh hot breakfast. Bathroom in room could use updating, cracked tiles.

  New puppy

  Went to rescue a 3 month old puppy and the all tile floors were nice. No carpet. Staff all welcoming to us.

  Friendly

  The staff was very friendly! the rooms are good size. Located near a Walgreens and gas station which was convenient for getting right back on the road. They offer a nice little breakfast.

  Good location and quiet

  Would give it 5 bones, but this is a corridor room entrance motel. With a pet, I prefer a direct outside entrance. Staff was great!

  Great choice!

  We were on a five state road trip, a dog and two ladies so we needed to find a clean, safe comfortable place to rest for the night. This was a great choice! Very clean and spacious and very comfortable. Would choose this hotel if making this same road trip again.

  Disappointed

  The room door wasn’t closed when we got to our room which makes me apprehensive. The toiletries were used and gummy, floor needed cleaned. We did have fresh towels, clean sheets, and lots of floor space for Sophie. Breakfast was adequate with grab and go microwaveable sausage biscuits with egg and cheese, orange juice, milk, and coffee.

  Clean and Comfortable

  I only stayed for one night in room 321. I found my room to be clean, comfortable, and spacious. It had cable tv channels, fridge (with small freezer section), and a sofa. It was conveniently located near an entrance and exit door, which helped with moving everything back and forth between the car and room. The hotel is by a set of train tracks, but I did not hear anything all night. The only criticism that I have is that there is not a green space for the dog (I understand that it is New Mexico and green grass is not prevalent). There is a dirt area in the back of the hotel that my dog used (be mindful of previous animals’ excrements). There is a Subway across the street from the hotel and an Asian buffet also within walking distance, but not much else in the area by way of sustenance.

  Won't stay there again

  To close to the railroad tracks, train noise all night. Card key lock worked only some of the time. Close to the interstate but that's the only good point. Literally no breakfast at all, cold cereal, ran out of coffee and poor juice selection.

  Good Location

  Convenient to the highway and restaurants. Walmart is close by if you need to shop for pet essentials. It appeared that most (all?) guests with dogs were given first floor rooms which is very convenient. When traveling with our dog, I would stay here again.

  Staff great, no place to walk

  The staff was great and friendly (there was noisy music I asked them to help with after 11…I was that guy), but we arrived after dark and the only places to walk my dog were the parking lot. The landscaped are melon-sized rocks and impossible for my pup to walk on. There is a great nature area next door, but at night I had no idea what it was. Even if I did, I’m not sure I would’ve felt comfortable at night.

  Absolutely the WORST

  This is one of a row of decrepit motels aligned down the block. The automated front door was broken. There was a sign saying the desk manager was helping another customer and would be back in 5 minutes but I could hear two women talking while I read a sign proclaiming this a 100% smoke free hotel. Still, I saw and smelled a cloud of marijuana smoke come from the office door as I repeated “hello?” Finally, one woman came out, gave me a key and directions to the middle entrance. Again, that door was broken, no lock in the hole, totally unsecured. This entry, the hallway and our room reeked of pot. We had the added aroma of dog urine in the room and a carpet so sticky we would not take off our socks! The toilet seat was up making us question if that was from housekeeping or not.

  If we had not been exhausted from driving for over 12 hours and the other nearby hotels weren’t just as seedy, we would have left.

  Thanks for making us such a horrible, non-refundable reservation Fido!

  Good location dog park not far away

  As far as the room is concerned, they need to do away with those bed pillows! They are horrible! My neck is still complaining!

  Not great for dogs

  There was no place for dogs to eliminate or wander, except all the way around the back of a very large building in a messy vacant lot. Also, the room was not clean; there was a dirty sock from a previous occupant under our bed.

  Great Location~

  This property was located rather close to the highway and was easy to find. The room was nice and clean; the hot breakfast had a nice variety, and was tasty. There was plenty of available "potty area" for our mastiffs toward the back of the property. We would stay at this location again.

  The staff was super. The room was extra large, clean and comfortable. They have an indoor pool and spa.

  Not A Good Night Sleep For Puppy Or Us

  On our first road trip with our 75lb puppy we spent a night at this hotel. We will avoid it in the future. The room was spacious, the bed a little harder than I’d like. There was microwave and refrigerator in the room and the latter made a loud buzzing sound. Trains go near by all night, the a/c was also loud and made whistling sound. When we finally got to sleep, there were people knocking on doors, talking in the hallway, there were doors and steps all over, making puppy bark and growl. Noise calmed down after 1 am. To top it off The bathroom had a constant fowl smell like there was mold behind the tiles or the vent was compromised. Breakfast was okay. Staff was unfriendly. The $20 pet fee also carries taxes. Because it is easy on/of highway, rooms are big and breakfast was good I gave it 3 bones but Will not stat here again.
