  Nice hotel

  Large, clean room. Refrigerator and AC worked. No long wait for hot water. Very friendly staff. Good area for dog business. Parking is somewhat limited so might not park close to your room. The included breakfast was better than nothing, pretty bland. Not next to the Interstates, so no highway noise. I will stay here again with my dog.

  Nice stop, good location

  The staff are very nice and helpful! The rooms are large and clean but a little dated but it worked for us. I gave it four bones due to the lawn area which is large but needs to be taken care of; it has weeds with burrs that stuck to our dog. Otherwise, we will stay there every time we go that way!!!

  Easy to find off the highway

  Rooms were extra large, beds very comfortable, clean and ALL the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Would certainly stay there again.

  Excellent Stay

  I was a bit disappointed driving up to the property but walked inside and was so wrong. This place brought me back to my childhood. Cute cabin feel in the office as we were greeted by Natalie who has a smile to light up a room. She was so kind and friendly. Give her a raise!! As we drove around the property was very nice. Great courtyard for kids or pets, nice trees. We absolutely loved it here. The room was very spacious with comfy beds. The breakfast area is well thought out with plenty of choices and wonderful staff to greet you and assist in any way. This place is a diamond in the rough!! Dinner at El Charro was delicious.

  A good stay

  Very well maintained, clean, comfortable, updated older motel. Very friendly staff and grassy area outside room. Easy access to I10. Will definitely stay again.

  Great experience checking in. Room clean and nice size. Nice grassy area for dogs to do their business in the middle of the complex.

  Great location, clean grassy areas

  Right off the highway and minutes from museums and shops downtown. Ours was a very spatious, updated room but unfortunately carpeted. Loved the large and CLEAN grassy areas.

  Beautiful!

  The style of the hotel room was gorgeous, everything was clean, and the doggy relief area was fantastic! They even had bags and a garbage can for pup waste. Breakfast was good too! Highly recommend!

  An amazing experience

  We loved this hotel. So clean, a true find. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Our room was really great; large with Southwestern character and an oversized truly comfortable King Bed. We will return!!

  Good location, warm greeting, comfortable room, and a perfect area to walk your dog: a large, well lit, grassy area in the middle courtyard. Hot breakfast with a very friendly staff in the agave café that has a wonderful old world ambience. Will definitely return for a visit!

  Easy to get in and out

  I've stayed here a few times with my dog. The rooms are clean, and it's easy to get checked in and out. They also have a large courtyard area where I can walk my dog for her breaks.

  Wish It Worked Better For Us

  We received a call from them letting us know they only had upper rooms available and no elevator. That worked for us but not having an elevator could be an issue for others. The call was considerate and appreciated. Overall the property itself is old school and its location isn’t by anything desirable to walk to. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Cleanliness at a place like this is key for us. Our room was recently updated and it showed. The old elements still exist so the doors, walls and windows don’t mitigate sound transfer from room to room or the outside in.

  For that reason it didn’t work for us and our dog. She could hear it all and couldn’t relax so in turn she barked and we didn’t sleep well. That’s a deal breaker on driving trips. There’s also a railroad track nearby which again is louder than preferred. Bottom line, it’s a nice value and a good place to stay for people with pets, however we prefer something a little nicer, quieter and closer to more shops and restaurants. It’s a 2 bone motel/hotel at best, even with the creature comforts, so for that reason the place can’t really be anything more than 3 bones.

  Good value, lots of noise

  The hotel was a great value, however the neighbors on both sides of us were very loud. I was able to hear private conversations and even had to call the front desk.

  Great Motel

  Built in probably the 80’s, it’s an old motel that has been updated. It was quiet, clean, convenient with a great dining area and complimentary breakfast in the morning.

  When you drive up it isn’t what you expect but the room was newly redone and inviting. Everything was clean and in working condition. There was places to sit outside, bbq if wanting to, the pool was open and looked clean, even a nice area for our dogs to walk and do their business. Enjoyed a homemade waffle, sausage, and coffee. There was fresh scrambled eggs as well as cereal, biscuits&gravy, danish, fruit, yogurt and more. Very nice. The staff was welcoming as well. Just waiting for my money they held because of using a third party to stay.

  1 flaw

  This hotel was excellent! Big rooms, nice staff, hot breakfast, clean, quiet, and a lot of grass for dogs! The only flaw was the room had a stale urine odor, not like dog pee, but like an old nursing home. This was easily fixed with my car deodorizer I brought in but would probably be a bigger deal for someone else.

  Great for dogs

  They have a really nice green, grassy area for your dogs. We’re on the bottom floor and it’s right outside the door. It’s so convenient! The windows are huge and my dog enjoyed watching what was going on outside. It really is perfect if you are traveling with a dog. The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave and coffee maker.

  Great Big Rooms

  These rooms are so much nicer than expected from the outside. Big rooms with nice furniture. There’s a large grass yard in the middle of the property. The $20/night dog fee is not a problem considering the room was only $70/night for such a nice space. Even included breakfast. Thanks Best Western!

  We had originally booked king rooms, but the nice young man switched us to double queens because they are on the ground floor. Great patch of grass with a mutt mitt station and bin

  Better than expected

  The BringFido app was a great tool for finding places that would accept us with our dogs and even tells you what size dog restrictions there and fees.
  The Best Western Mission Inn was a lovely extra large room. we ordered food from a nearby restaurant and set up plenty of space for two of us to dine at a table and enjoy a movie. It was also a very clean room...and the staff was super helpful when I accidentally left something behind. Great stay

  Actual grass in the desert southwest

  Nice shady grassy area with a pooch pot. Hotel was older mission style that was very well kept up. Large comfortable room. Staff was quite friendly

  Good place to make home for a few days.

  We’ve stayed here before and still find it a good place to call “home” while visiting family. They serve a good hot breakfast to all guests and have a good green area where dogs can be walked and do their business.

  We’d definitely stay here again!

  Good value

  Spent one night in route to California. Easy to find from I-10. Room interiors were updated and clean. Nice grassy area for our dog with necessary bags provided. Front desk also provided a list of dog friendly restaurants. All in all, a good value. I would stay again.
