Short gravel path at end of parking lot made for good potty spots. Room was nice and clean and a decent breakfast.

Room 130 smelled terrible of cat urine. When we checked in there was a strong propane smell in the lobby; attendant told us it was only happening when dryer was used a lot late in the day, but it was still there in the morning. Since they didn’t seem to think it a concern, we called the fire department after we left to check. Several cars in lot with sleeping people made us concerned about security. Breakfast was good.

Overall a positive stay with good rooms, great service and great breakfast. Location is best choice in a limited location. As a dog owner, there was a charge and the outdoor surroundings (e.g. grass, walking area) were limited.

This hotel is well located right off I-25. There is ample space around the hotel to walk dogs. The room was clean and they gave us a room near the back door which was convenient.

We were really glad to find this location. It was clean and comfortable. When there is no snow there is an area off the parking lot to walk your dog. It was reasonably priced and we would definitely stay there again.

I'm surprised no one has reviewed this place before! The room we had was comfortable, quiet and neat. Plenty of parking. The only possible downside is that the area is mostly sidewalk and concrete. My dog loves that, but for folks with dogs that like grass and fields, it may be less than great. Since there was snow on the ground, however, I could be missing some grassy areas.
For the owners: the breakfast there included eggs and bacon. I was spoiled! (La Quinta, where we frequently stay, sticks to oatmeal/waffles/cereal - a high carb breakfast).
If I'm passing through Raton again, I'd definitely stay here again.
