This hotel was our favorite stop on our cross country trip. All the comforts you want after a long day on the room. A fireplace in the room, a nice bar and restaurant adjacent and the Santa Fe Plaza was just a block away. Our dog was welcomed with treats and was welcome in the bar. We were pulling a trailer and the hotel allowed us to park in front overnight. Hotel also has an underground parking garage. Some may say the rooms feel dated, but they were clean and cozy. Overall, a great value for downtown Santa Fe..

The hotel is a short walk to the Santa Fe Plaza, world class shopping and restaurants. The hotel staff were very helpful and gave suggestions on dog-friendly restaurants. Our dog was happy and enjoyed green space a short walk away. We highly recommend this hotel.

I’ve stayed at La Posada numerous times with my pets and it never disappoints. The location is perfect to take in all things in central Santa Fe. The rooms are spacious and cozy and having a fireplace really makes it feel like home away from home. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They even let your well behaved dog in the bar. So fun!

Love this quaint little hotel! Within walking distance of really good restaurants and the heart of Santa Fe. No pet relief area, but close to the plaza and a short walk to a nice stroll by the river.

Tod loved his stay at Hotel Chimayo in Santa Fe. Everyone loved him and made him feel right at home. The area around the hotel was perfect for walks and he really enjoyed that. Perfect place to stay❣️

I was so happy to find a cool in town place that was dog friendly. It doesn't matter that there's no grassy patches there as you are so close to the big square which has a lot of grass. Really comfy beds and quiet too. I wish I had known to have made reservations at the restaurant though, as it looked really good, but we were able to get yummy meal in town.

We had a most enjoyable time at Hotel Chimayo and at Santa Fe in general. The room was comfortable and the hotel and Santa Fe in general are among the most dog-friendly places we have encountered in our travels. We found communication with the concierge via SMS messaging quite convenient, since the hotel seemed to be short of staff. I would suggest having additional trolleys available for guests, since loading and unloading cars in the underground garage can be a problem.
