  Not the best

  Shuttle to old town free including dog. Lots of ports and plugs. Dog walking area minimal, room smelled. Arranged for housekeeping for 2nd day and never showed.

  Mixed Review

  The room was nice and parking very convenient. Nothing special was done for my dogs though. Their "dog park" is a postage stamp sized piece of gravel with lawn furniture all over. They did provide poop bags, though.

  Good stay

  The hotel is in a good location, and the rooms were fairly quiet, no sounds coming from next door; but walking overhead was easily heard and we had someone above us who paced every night for about half an hour. Maybe on a phone call? But, no voices or TV noise which was nice. Every worker was friendly, polite, helpful. The grounds did need a little care; when we arrived there was a face mask on the dirt close to our door; six days latter, it was still there. The rules clearly state that pets may not be left alone in the rooms, but the free breakfast (👍🏻) is inside, so dogs are not allowed. We left our pup with a chew while we ate, but not at any other time.

  A little outdated. Toilet constantly leaked water through the flush valve. Air conditioner was loud. The stay worked well enough. Would not stay as a vacation.

  Nice Spot

  We stayed in January so it was cool, the place was warm and comfy. Easy dog access and couldn't have been nicer people at the check in. The room was small and older, if we would have had big dogs (or people) it would have been really tight. There is no carpet, so no pet smell, the bed was great, and again easy dog in/out. The furnishings are a little rustic but they work for what we needed. I will warn that the app says $15 per pet per night, but the fee was $20. Also, the room rate was $64 in the app, but at check in we were told there is a $15 resort fee, so the room was really around $80. Also a $50 refundable deposit for damage. If we were back in warm weather we would consider this place again.

  Pet friendly and location approved!

  Both dogs were happy with their stay including quick easy access to a neighborhood park (via a gate which the room key will get you back into the property). Rooms were clean and non-carpeted flooring meant no smells or stains. Dogs agree they want to go back!

  Fido was happy for the most part

  Excellent streamlined check-in, lovely room, nice entertainment in the lounge. Staff was friendly and eager to help. Pillows could use some work. Heating unit cut in and out every 3 minutes all night long!!!

  Great Getaway

  We had a very comfortable stay at the Santa Fe Sage Inn. Dogs were allowed in the bar/restaurant/patio section which made it great to spend more time there. Our room was clean and comfy. We'll definitely return when In Santa Fe.

  2 woofs and 2 wags! Our 2 dogs loves the Sage inn. With clean rooms, a fun bar, and a nice neighborhood park right next door, what’s not to love?

  We had a great stay at the Sage Inn

  The room was comfy. The location was great. The breakfast they provided was delicious. Our dog loved it. We loved it also. Thank you for a great stay. We will be back.

  Great location, decent rooms

  The best thing about this place is the little doggie park outside the back gate. Inside the property there aren't a whole lot of areas for dogs to do their business. And, they aren't doing a great job of keeping it clean. Yes, this should be the responsibility of the owner but that doesn't seem to happen much these days. The rooms are simple but adequate and they are clean. For the price it can't be beat in Santa Fe.

  Great experience and location

  The staff was great at the Sage. It is a warm and welcoming place for canines and humans. Nice breakfast and bar. Two suggestions for us "mature" guests: use remote controls with larger and fewer buttons, and lower the volume on the DJ in the bar. Some of us like to talk while imbibing while listening to background music.

  Worst hotel experience

  We’ve traveled almost 10,000 miles in a month around the country. This was the worst hotel of all. Paper thin walls, horrible plumbing, terrible service. People staying above us partied the ENTIRE evening, we got zero sleep, and front desk said that it was not a hotel issue. Other guests I spoke with had same issues. Way too overpriced for this barely polished turd. I’d way rather stay at a Motel 6 or La Quinta.

  My favorite spot

  Been to this motel 4 times now with a number of my dogs. The rooms are bright, beds comfy, and the beautiful green park out the back gate is so relaxing to walk dogs or just sit and enjoy Santa Fe. Whole Foods is next door which is very convenient. Front desk staff always nice. Rooms have been updated occasionally as is the case this time. Simple southwestern style. It’s worth the stop whether for one night or planning to shuttle into Santa Fe.

  Nice grounds

  We stayed with our pup and were very pleased. There is a small park behind the motel with easy access to walk the dogs. There are also little paths to walk on the motel grounds, several nice tables to sit outside, and the motel has a nice dog friendly patio with drinks and food. Only drawback is, walls are pretty thin, so if you have a nervous dog he/she will hear occasional noises throughout the night and keep him/her awake (like mine.) Also, rooms and grounds are very clean and well kept.

  Great location, but not very clean

  I have stayed at this dog friendly hotel many times in the last two years and was disappointed this trip to find it dirty and in disrepair. The shower head fell off when I went to adjust it and the toilet was clogged. Not only was the room dirty, but the sidewalks and parking area were too. Sad!!

  Key didn’t work, smokers all over, trash all over grounds, toilet seat didn’t fit correctly & blocked the door from shutting, wiped floor from dog wager & rag was filthy. Nice interior decor, thick towels, comfy bed @ pillows

  Park adjacent and roomy

  We were fortunate enough to upgrade to a suite upon check-in which was still a great deal! Unfortunately the mattress in the pull out was horribly uncomfortable. There was a great little residential court behind the hotel with a park in the middle; perfect for walking my pup! Explored the railroad park across the street as well. Breakfast options were varied and lots of good outdoor seating for dining. Despite my aching back it was a good deal in a good central location.

  Fantastic App!!!

  So easy to use and book travel with your pet. Pricing is very competitive and if you have a hiccup in your plans or something is mischarged - the Bring Fido staff is on it for resolving issues. True service!!!

  Completely accepting of our pets. There is a little dog park at the other end of the dog park. And we were able to walk downtown too.

  Terrific Experience

  We booked through BringFido app. The inn is adorable and our room is wonderful. Adorable park located across the street. Location wonder near downtown and museums plus shopping. I called after booking to let Sage inn know we have a big dog and the nice gentleman put a note in our reservation and said that won’t be a problem. We arrived to find no microwave so I called the office to find where I could use one on the property and he said they will bring one to us. I figured it would be an hour before a microwave would arrive and about 15 minutes after I called the sweet maintenance man carried it in and plugged it in for us! It has been a terrific stay!

  Love The Decor!

  We were passing through on our way to CA and decided to stay here with our beagle. The rooms were smaller but the decor and furniture were so cute and stylish. It was very clean as well. Some cons: the A/C was not strong at all and was also super loud, there’s a dog park behind the hotel so it’s a little inconvenient if your dog needs to go ASAP but the park is very nice and grassy, and also the hotel restaurant was closed (understandably). We also used the washer/dryer and it could’ve been a little cleaner in there, but they had two sets. The dryer was SO hot on normal heat so beware lol. All in all, the room was just what we needed and our dog was comfortable, would recommend!

  Good Pet Friendly Option In Santa Fe

  Clean and comfortable - small rooms, but it was fine for one night with our Pug. No on-site potty area, but a great park right behind the property. First floor appreciated. Breakfast options were plentiful, but hot entrees were cool and the toaster was broken. Perhaps understaffed? Employee were not very friendly or informative, but would stay again considering location (near Whole Foods/downtown!) and overall still above average.

  This was a super place with a very nice park behind and easy access no traffic to worry about.
  Room was modern and clean, breakfast wonderful and a free beer or glass of wine the first night.

  Great location

  The Sage Inn is in a great location. We thought it would be nice if there was a slightly larger space to take your dog to walk to go to the bathroom. Otherwise the staff was very accommodating and friendly and had good recommendations for nearby pet friendly restaurants.
