  Not great

  No accommodations for pets other than letting them stay in the room with you. No grassy area, no poop bags. Had to walk along busy street to gas station that had a patch of grass for our dogs to relieve themselves. Clerk that checked us in was not friendly and seemed "inconvenienced" doing so. She claimed the ice machine was broken cuz she was too lazy to unlock the door to it. The next day, the daytime clerk let us in and said it was working fine & didn't know why the night clerk claimed otherwise. Room was simple and clean.

  Clean room, friendly staff! No great place to walk your pet real nearby but we made do.

  Okay for 1 night

  The room was clean and modern. The bed wasn’t awful but the pillows were not comfortable. It was a noisy room near the road. There was no designated area for the dog to do her business. It did have a fridge and that was helpful. We were able to walk to places to eat that are dog friendly. We drove to a very nice dog park less than all mile from the hotel. As this was our first experience traveling with our dog, I’m not sure I’d return to this hotel. Neither of us slept very well.

  Avoid, avoid, avoid! This place needs to close and upgrade.

  Not sure how anyone gives this a better rating than a 1. Our dog didn’t want to stay here, and they have the nerve to charge a pet fee. Rusty stairs, screens hanging off windows, whole place smells of smoke, tiny rooms. Avoid. Sante Fe super busy, super cool hotels, this isn’t one of them. Owner should be ashamed taking advantage of visitors.

  Great park right across the street!

  The motel was pretty good for the price paid. But there was a fantastic park where my dog and I walked and explored twice. He tried to catch a wild bunny there too. We loved that stop.

  Miniscule Pet Relief Area

  The rooms are nice. TVs are very cheap but function well considering the price. The toilet paper and tissue are the lowest budget money can buy, but that's okay. However, the only ice found uncleared in the parking lot is at the handicap spot. It's super dangerous, and instead of clearing the ice off the parking lots, the staff was sweeping the dirt off the parking lot instead. When I mentioned it to the front desk clerk all she said was that she thinks he's going to do it today. Additionally if you come with your dog's, the only pet relief spot is this teeny tiny postage stamp section on the main road. All the rooms are pet-friendly which is awesome, but when you have dogs and they put you on the second floor I think that's an issue. If you do stay here with your dogs, be sure to stress you want a first-floor room.
