  What a gem!

  Loved this cute little place. So friendly and love doggies. It was a step back in time. Nothing fancy but very clean, nice linens and a good bed (my big three)! Had a great night’s sleep. Highly recommend.

  Great ambiance that transports you back in time to the vacationing days of Route 66. The room is decorated in decor of the 50s-60s. When we first entered all my visual senses were triggered. From the 60s music playing on a vintage radio sitting on an authentic coffee table, to the cute display with puppy surprises and a water bowl sitting on the bed. The lodge had a well maintained dog run with all supplies. Had a great stay and a vintage visual tour. Great Route 66 displays and diners within walking distance of the lodge. Had a great stay.

  Excellent Pet Friendly Lodging

  Motel was done up for the Route 66 experience. Very cool decorations. Nice fenced in dog area. Very pet friendly. Room had a treat and a water bowl waiting for my dog. Room was very clean and comfortable. Heads up if you make your reservation via Bring Fido. You should call the motel to make sure they book you in one of the dog friendly rooms. I got an email suggesting I call the motel and they gave me the last dog friendly room.

  Great Location

  We arrived late room was ready with treats for the dog. Didn’t have to fill out paperwork or show id or give a credit card for “incidentals.” She told me what room, we went in and found the lights and heat already on. Nice, clean room and clean dog run area.

  Past and present merge

  Besides the helpful staff and the charmingly retro Route 66 room (especially the radio playing shows from that era), we loved the special bone treat for our dog and that the chain link pet enclosure was all lit up from lights strung through the chain, making it festive and easy to maneuver at night.

  Very accommodating!

  I want to give this 5 bones because the hotel was top notch for pets!! Special treats, bowls, towels, and fun awaited when we entered our room! They have a medium sized pet area which is nice for letting your dog off the leash and is stocked with toys and water! The bed was incredibly comfortable! And the nostalgia was very cute! I love the moon pie treats that were left in the room, and the radio playing retro music and commercials!

  A few cons. There really aren’t a lot of good areas for walking a bigger dog around the hotel. Not a lot of food options in town. The bathrooms were… not good, lol. Reminded me of a really bad hotel, very tiny and not in a nostalgic way. Rooms have older heating/ac systems and it was really difficult to regulate. Room was either super hot or super cold and I could never get it to a happy medium.

  Great stay!

  We stayed in a downstairs room with our Pet on NY Day 2024. David the owner was so accommodating with pets, pick up with a car hauler parking close to our room. The room was very clean, modestly furnished like the retro times were. Mattress was fabulous. We had everything we needed. There is a dog run fully fenced. To top off great lodging here, we walked just across the street, and had a nice breakfast at Kix 66!

  It is a 50’s motel so room size and amenities reflect that. Otherwise it fits what we look for in dog friendly rooms. No carpet on the floor, clean room on ground floor, and easy access to pet relief area.

  Great Stay

  This place is a true gem and should be at the top of anyone's list who is traveling Route 66. Notwithstanding the 60's motif, there are lots of modern amenities. The rooms and facilities are truly spotless, and my Great Dane could not have been happier with the dog run where she met several new friends. Of all of the places I stayed when driving the country, this place was the best and I ended up staying three nights. Make sure you go to Del's (across the street) for dinner (dogs allowed on porch outside).

  Super cute mid century motor lodge

  This was a fun place to stay! You can tell the owner took great care to be as mid century authentic as possible, while providing 21st century amenities. Very comfortable bed, bedding, WiFi and flat screen TV let's you feel right at home. Super dog friendly with a dog run and pet treats in the room upon arrival. I always appreciate a truly dog friendly lodging experience and this one lives up to its reputation.

  This is a very animal friendly motel with clean rooms, treats and towels for our canine companion, a good fenced area for relief, excellent coffee in the morning, and lots of nostalgia! We will stay here again for sure!

  Great place!

  This place is great, and so very, very clean. It was so clean, I felt guilty taking a shower and cleaned up after myself. There is no vanity in the bathroom, so you are warned, and the bathroom itself is small. The owners are super friendly, and they offer coffee and Hostess snack cakes for breakfast. You can buy bags of ice and drinks at the office. We had our dogs with us, and the dogs got treats and their own welcome page, towel, and water bowl. The bed itself was firm and the pillows mushy. There is a dog run, and a grassy area with tables set up to sit and enjoy the evening. Well worth staying at if you're passing through the area.

  Fun Experience

  Roadrunner was very accommodating to me and my pup! It was a great experience to stay in a motel like this. The dog area is wonderful with toys, bags, shade and lights all night long. They really did think of great details to make staying more enjoyable. The one downside is besides a few close restaurants nothing else is around it.

  This place was very well done in the spirit of Route 66. My room had an old looking radio playing nothing but commercials from the time. And that’s just one detail. The owners are extremely friendly and do anything they can to make you feel welcome.

  Great Retro Retreat

  This was the second stop on our cross-country drive and our time at the Roadrunner was a perfect little retreat. We got one of the stylish 60's rooms and it truly felt like we had gone back in time. The room was comfy, quiet and cool. The grounds don't have a pool but they do have a small dog run where our little guy could run off leash which was so good for him after two days In a car. The staff is super friendly and really looked after us and our pooch! The motel is located on what must have been a fantastic strip of old route 66. Many of the iconic places are sadly closed so it felt even more special to still be able to channel those vibes at the Roadrunner!

  "Vintage" Route 66 hotel

  Really well-done "retro"-themed motel; the kitsch is nicely updated to modern comforts. Everything is thoughtfully designed, from the local art on the walls to the Moon Pies on the coffee table. Knowing that we had two dogs with us, our room was stocked with a water bowl, "dog towel," two gift baggies of biscuits, & a little card from the doggie ambassador. Both the room & property itself were very clean & well-maintained. The dog area is fenced grass, double-gated, & well-lit. Staff was friendly & knowledgeable. While not desirable to some, we (& our senior dogs) liked that the rooms were conveniently accessed directly from outdoors. Minor quibbles: check-out is 10AM. Can only do so much with an old building, I suppose, but one can hear everything through the walls & ceiling. Overall, Roadrunner is a great little place, & we regret not staying longer; would recommend with or without dogs.

  Unwelcoming

  I arrived early and was hoping to add an early check-in fee or additional day. The parking lot was empty, the office door was locked, and it all felt very wrong and awkward. Rather than wait until the 4pm office open time, I decided to head home.

  Great for pets!

  Quaint, cozy motel right off the highway that is incredibly pet friendly. Bowl, treats, and a personalized note for the pup upon check-in and a clean fenced in dog run area with lights so great for after dark as well. Couple great restaurants within walking distance as well.

  We enjoyed our stay! Drove through a blizzard in the Albuquerque area and was greeted with a nice warm room and soft radio from the 60’s!!! Josie our doodle had a personal note, treats, bowl, and towel waiting for her!!! Bed was comfy and shower nice!!! Owner was very pleasant!!!

  What a great place for dogs! Restored old school Route 66 motor lodge with well-lit double gates fenced area for dogs to burn some energy and do their business. Bowl, treats and dog towel in the room with connection to a nearby diner that had dog snacks on the menu. Stuck with our own dog food but it was a cool touch. Clean, quiet, good rest.

  Funky and Functional

  Tucumcari is an interesting place, and the lodge fits right in. The pet accommodation is very good, and though the fenced dog area is smallish, it is clean, well lit and far superior to the open lots nearby that contain sand burr weeds. Management was very helpful and a stay is a reminder of what motels were like in the sixties, in a good way.

  Outstanding and Nostalgic

  During a road trip across Route 66, we spent one night at the Roadrunner Lodge. It was outstanding! Very unique and nostalgic -- including 50's decor and furniture, old school lock and key, and a radio playing music oldies and commercials. It's a unique walk back into time. Also, it is extremely dog friendly! On the bed, there was a welcome note and treats for my dog, Norway, from their canine director of hospitality. Out front there is a play area for the pups, as well. The room was quite comfortable, and the wi-fi worked great. Also, a quick mention: we had dinner take-out down the street at Del's. They offer a large menu, including a dog menu. I ordered the burger and rice, and my husky loved it. Overall, if you're looking for a cool change of pace, nice, dog-friendly folks, give the Roadrunner Lodge a try.

  We make a point of making Roadrunner a stop on our trip from NC to Phoenix. Owners are so accommodating and the rooms are so comfortable and the cleanest!

  This little place sort of gave me the creeps but I think it was more the neighborhood than the place itself. It was clean enough but it reminded me of one of those motels in the scary movies where the guy behind the desk was a creeper. I don't recommend Tucumcari as a place to stay the night. We didn't encounter any threats but I'm not sure I'd risk it again.

  Room was small and without fridge/microwave (they are provided in a room next to lobby), furnishings were minimal but cleanliness of room, owner’s attention to detail, the 1950’s decor, enclosed dog area, all helped to create a pleasant stay. Would recommend hotel without reservation.

  Neat little place! We loved the 60’s roadside motel vibe and the thoughtful additions to enhance the experience. While we did not meet the “canine concierge” face-to-face, our pup appreciated the goodies he left for her. As a bonus, nearby restaurant, Del’s, had a dog menu. First time we’d seen that and our dog was quite chuffed to have her own plate. A great experience all-around.

  Great Place for Dogs

  This is an older motel along historic Route 66. Our room was clean and very dog friendly. There was no carpet on the floors and we were provided with doggie treats, a water bowl and dog towel in our room. There was also a fenced grass play area on the property (which our golden retrievers really appreciated) stocked with toys, water bowls, shade, and dog bags, as well as chairs for their human companions. The owner was very friendly and a dog owner himself. The property was quiet and we felt safe. There was a good restaurant across the street. We ordered take-out, but they also offered patio seating if you want to bring your pet.

  Amazing stay on Route 66!

  We had a blast staying the night at The Roadrunner. The owners thought of every detail for the pups! Room and bathroom were very clean, they had a doggy gift for our pups when we arrived, the dog park area was extremely clean and plenty of space for our pups to run around.

  This place was not only dog friendly, it was dog-focused. Of course that’s bound to happen when your Director of Canine Hospitality is a dog himself 😊 The room was well-designed and the whole experience was thoughtfully created to put you in the mindset of a traveler in the 60s, tooling down Route 66. There were great details in the room for humans and pups. The property included a nice, enclosed dog run complete with water, toys, and shade. There was also an inviting fire pit area. It was a really good experience for my dog and her humans. Nearby Del’s and Kix are dog-friendly places to eat. Would totally stay again!

  FANTASTIC PLACE TO STAY!

  This hotel is the best pet friendly hotel I have ever stayed at! The rooms are spotless, towels are white and not stained at all. The bed is so comfortable. The added touches add to the ambiance. The furnishings scream 60’s and is clean and comfortable, shower was spotless and it had hot water. The added touches of a water bowl, gift cookies, towel, and a special note for my pup was fantastic! The radio is even 60’s style and plays that era of music. 5 BONES for pups and 5 stars for the humans.

  Having traveled cross country & stayed in hotels that stated they were pet friendly, charge outrageous additional costs but so disappointing, the Roadrunner Lodge was a delight! The staff was welcoming, friendly & really caring about our 3 Yorkies. They had treats to greet them, a water bowl & their own special towel. The best of best was the fantastic on their grounds dog park. A clean comfortable bed & room for us. Not a third rated pet room as other hotels put us in. Needless to say this will always be the hotel of choice on our travel root when we return that way!!!

  The Best Dog Friendly Motel on Route 66

  All the 5-Bone Reviews aren't hype, this is where you want to stay in Tucumcari if you are traveling with your dog. I'm not sure if Tucumcari is ever a destination location, but it is a convenient stopping point along I-40 (and on the original Route 66). The motel is done up in a mid-century modern style, being retro without being overly kitschy. The owner has three dogs himself and there is a very green grassy area for your dog to play/relieve themselves, including a fenced-off area and a shade cloth. In the room were an embroidered doggie towel (we used it to put her water bowl on), a small gift bag of dog treats, and information about nearby dog-friendly restaurants. The WiFi signal was pretty weak in the room and there was no mini-fridge, but I didn't need to do any work and we had an ice chest in our car, so those things weren't a big deal. We will definitely stay here again the next time we stop in Tucumcari.

  Fantastic for pets and their owners!

  After a long day of driving the Roadrunner Inn was the perfect place to stay the night! Fun rooms with a very cool 50’s/60’s vibe. Very thoughtful amenities for Steven my dog. We were met by “Elvis” the director of canine hospitality - lovely touch. There were treats in the rooms for both dogs and humans alike. A wonderful grass dog run, partially shaded. This motel has it all!! Do not miss it!🐶🤗

  This place was really cute (funky retro) and super clean. Nice fenced area for pups with grass. Good location near freeway. Travelled with my 2 Belgian Malinois boys. Would definitely recommend.

  Really nice pet area, room was very clean and the retro was fun. Only things I would have liked is a refrigerator to keep Bun’s food cold in, thank goodness for a plug in cooler & a microwave would have been nice. We were in room #17 and the wifi was just to weak to reach us. So we used our hotspots instead.

  Great stay! Not sure when we booked but the reviews were all great. Turned out to be a great time. Clean. Nice dog run. Retro in all the right ways. Suggest Del’s about a two block walk. Dog friendly patio and really good food. Chicken fried chicken was the real deal.

  Roadrunner Lodge was a perfect place for me and two dogs on a road trip! It was clean, adorable, affordable, and it had a well-kept fenced in dog area for them to be off-leash for a bit. There were dog treats and other things to welcome the dogs. The lodge itself has its own radio station that fits well with the decor and overall ambiance. I will definitely be back. Such a unique and memorable experience.

  What an amazing experience! They really took the time to make a business plan that totally caters to the customer. Wow! This place was the cleanest dog friendly hotel we have been to in a very long time. Spotless and area around the grounds are immaculate including a dog park area and a outdoor fire pit! My pups got snacks at check in and a welcome in the room with their name on them! Definitely add to your travel list. Such a cool place with caring staff! Thank you!

  Safe, clean, cute, pet friendly place! Large fenced in pet area that was clean and well lit. Room was clean with plenty of towels. Free Nice little treat bag and bottled water for both the animals and humans. Attendant was super friendly. We were two women traveling with dogs and felt safe here. We definitely will be stopping here on our next road trip. 10/10 !

  Fabulous hospitality from David and his staff. The property has a great enclosed dog run with toys and water. I loved the rooms with the vintage mid-century decor and ambiance. I highly recommend Roadrunner Lodge if you are traveling with your fur babies. We loved it so much we stayed again on our way back to Texas without our pup.

  Don't Miss This Trip Back in Time

  I usually hesitate when it comes to staying in retro digs because you just never know, but this place is not to be missed. Check-in was easy, there was a bowl, towel and biscuits waiting in pretty little packages on the bed for my pups, and the room was immaculate. The 60s style radio on the table was playing programs and songs from the era and the decor was modernist retro. We loved everything about the place! Dogs had a separate potty yard where they could sniff around off leash. Amazing motel on Rte. 66. Don't Miss it!

  Our dog felt very welcome at this motel. They had a very clean grassy dog run with a pooh scoop and pooh bags. We also had a first floor room which was very helpful for both us and our dog. The dog was allowed in all the public areas which is wonderful!

  The room was ready and had little touches to make you feel very welcomed. Very dog friendly!!! Convenient, comfortable and full of retro charm. Bonus; we met amazing travelers. Had a fenced dog play area with water, bags, and toys that was well lit and a cute little gift shop with Route 66 memorabilia. Town is downtrodden but restaurants were terrific - look for the recommended list included in the room. Full of remnants from the 60s when is was in it's heyday! Great experience!! Definitely will stay here again!

  Rest for the weary dog

  Very friendly owners at this cute, retro Route 66 motel. We have stayed twice now as we snow-birded from The north down and back from Arizona. We have a Golden Retriever puppy and she was made quite welcome with her own treat bag and personal greeting in the room. The greatest part is the nice, big dog run where she could run and stretch her legs off leash after being cooped up in the car for 11 hours. Definitely will continue to us the Roadrunner next time we are in the area.

  A Route 66 Gem

  We booked here (as opposed to one of the chain hotels) solely on the reviews and after initially wondering ‘what had we done?!?’, we were glad we did. I had booked that morning online and the part about traveling with 2 dogs hadn’t come through. There are limited dog rooms available and he said to always call the place to double check and confirm they’ve got a room available. The rooms are clean and sweet. Typical motel issues but we had a lovely stay and the dogs loved their own welcome packs. Also, there are 2 restaurants directly across the street and they were both also gems.

  Great retro motel

  I really enjoyed our stay at the Roadrunner lodge in Tucumcari, NM. It is a restored gem located on historic Rt. 66 with a cool retro vibe. It has a small dog park which is more of a large dog run. It accommodated our 3 dogs easily. They had plenty of room to explore. The dog run is very tidy. If we ever pass through again, we definitely want to stay at the Roadrunner Lodge.

  This is a old hotel but well maintained, we loved it and definitely would stay here again if we get a chance. The cute small park is a nice bonus for puppies that need to play after long road trips.

  Do you like nostalgia and also dogs?

  This place was such a treat. Furnishings and ambiance are vintage, and the doggie park is cute and clean. Room is clean and cozy. This is a motel, so expect some road sounds. Fortunately, since it’s on 66, most big rigs roll by on the (2 miles away) 40 west. Also, this is vintage cinder block construction, so there’s some “neighbor noise.”

  Travel back in time & enjoy great pet amenities!

  This hotel is a trip back to the late 50’s/ early 60’s! Absolutely every detail has been seen to, from the vintage radio playing the old ads & music, being broadcast there on site, to a vintage glass dish featuring Moonpies for a late night snack. Absolutely delightful! They’ve built an off leash dog park in the parking lot with bags & a trash receptacle, my pup was greeted with a bag of treats, water dish, & her own towel! Customer service was top notch! Be sure to stop in the office to experience more vintage treats, including a fully functioning Vita Master vibrating exercise belt! Wouldn’t dream of staying elsewhere should I pass though again!

  Awesome retro digs!

  We absolutely loved the Road Runner Lodge. We stayed 1 night and felt so at home. Super dog friendly with a great grassy enclosed area for the puppies to run off some energy; it was so clean and we even sat down on the grass to enjoy some fetch time. Nice staff, and the retro vibe is amazing. The rooms are fabulously decorated and It’s literally a time capsule. A step back in time with old time radio shows to set the mood. A real gem!!

  Very dog friendly!

  We loved our stay here. They are very dog friendly, have a dog park area, left treats, towel, bowl and personalized note on the bed for our pup. We got moonpies as our treats. Walked into the room with lights on and 60s music playing which made it feel more welcoming and fit the theme of the motel. They have some doggy related things in the store area too. They also have a fire pit area right by the dog park area and turned it on for us. Our only complaint is that the people above is were loud and active but that's not the lodge's fault.

  Delightful!

  Sparkling clean. Retro contemporary with quality finishings. Very comfortable bed outfitted with soft sheets. Thick towels. New fixtures. Quiet. No fridge or microwave in the room, however. Small ice machine serves the entire property. We loved this place! What a treat they we were able to stay there.

  Puts the friend in pet friendly

  From the welcome treats on the bed to chatting with others staying at the lodge, The Roadrunner knows how to put the "friend" in pet-friendly lodging. If it didn't take 2 days to drive there, I would visit every other weekend. One of the managers/owners is a teacher and helps with community dog training classes. I mentioned the WPA and she drew a map of WPA built locations in Tucumcari. And, it turned out that she's a Saluki! Graduate of Southern Illinois University.

  Adorable retro motel with dog run

  This was one of our best stays on our 16 day road trip with our 2 small dogs. The motel has been renovated to the 1950s-early 60s style and is completely worth staying there even without dogs- but they have added a small dog park on the property that is adorable, my dogs loved it. They leave treats and bowls for your dog in the room when you arrive- and dog towels. Will be staying here again!

  I'd give it 10 bones if I could!

  Retro early 60's theme. Vintage furniture, decor and magazines in immaculate condition. Opened the door and felt like I was walking onto throgh a time warp into Rob & Laura Petrie's home on the the Dick Van Dyke show! They even left a water bowl and treats for the dogs. Highly recommend.

  This 60’s style motel was fantastic! One of the best dog friendly places I have stayed at! They even have a fenced in dog run. The added surprise was when my furbaby and I first walked into our room, there was a spread just for the dog! A water bowl, dog towel and a plate with treats! Will stay here again!

  Great for dogs

  Driving from CA to Ok we stopped here because of the reviews I read. While it’s off of I40 about 4 miles it was well worth it. Friendly owners welcomed us. Treats, towel and water dish in the room for our dog! They have a small dog run, great for a dog who had been in the car for 10 hours. The place was like stepping back into the 60’s! Made it a lot more fun the any hotel on the Interstate. We’ll stop there again on our drive home.

  nice room. pet treats and water bowl for Lola. heat/ac noisy. not surprising in a older motel. nice pet area. however the roach in the sink and then on crawled out from under the bed this morning. that ruined all the nice parts.

  Perfect overnight stop with our pup!

  We’d read the reviews here and were looking forward to seeing it for ourselves. It did not disappoint! The welcome note for our pup was a welcome sight after a long day of driving, as was the little dog park where he could potty and stretch his legs. The rooms are small but clean and worked just fine for a pitstop to get some rest. And we even got a cup of coffee from the gift shop to get us started on another day of driving.

  Highlight of Our Cross Country Trip

  We stayed at Roadrunner Lodge during the terrible storm on February 14, unprepared for the snow and freezing cold. I wanted to turn around and go home but decided to get some sleep first. Roadrunner Lodge was an unexpected oasis. The very kind owner immediately put me at ease. The room was adorable and soooooo clean. Finding the sweet doggie treats waiting on top of a red doily with Joey’s name written on it brought tears to my eyes. Of all 11 hotels/motels we stayed at on this trip, it was by far the cleanest and the bed the most comfortable. Will never forget this place. Diane and Joey❤️

  What a wonderful pet friendly hotel. There is a pet walk close to the rooms with clean up bags! Our sweet boy slept better than at any hotel we have stayed in...and there have been several.

  Great stay! Super cute and a good sized dog park. My rott mix had plenty of space. They even gave dog treats and left her a cute note. No fridge in room which isn’t always a problem depending on who you are! right near some good restaurants. would stay again :)

  It’s so hard to find a hotel/motel with a fenced dog run area! This place has it! Great party lights around the whole area! The rooms are retro, although a little small but not worth taking away a bone from this great little motel! High five with paws! 🐶

  A step back in time with retro rooms that modern amenities. The Most Comfortable Bed I've Ever Slept in. So much so I asked what brand and name. With no hesitation I was given that information.

  Great place for dogs!

  What a great place to stay on Route 66, especially if you have a dog! They had contactless check in and the place was so cute and retro. One of the employees contacted me prior to us getting there and was super friendly and explained everything. When we got there, there was a little note for our dog with doggie towels, water bowl and treats, moon pies for us. They have a fantastic fenced in, well lit dog area with poop bags, water and picnic table. Definitely would stay here again when passing through. On the positive note, the parking lot and dog area were well lit and felt very safe, on the negative, we could of used better blinds to block out some of that light for sleepy time. Overall, a fantastic place!

  Amazing!

  This place was such a well kept blast from RT 66 past and they are beyond pet friendly. We checked in and was greeted by an amazing room with welcoming treats, towels and a water dish for my dogs. They have a nice dog yard outside where you can sit and let the dogs do their business. It is situated by a dog friendly restaurant across the street. Down the street we were recommended to a great dinner place. That place wasn’t dog friendly but they don’t have a problem with the dogs in the room if they are well behaved.
  We wanted to avoid chain hotels on this trip with our dogs and see Americana and this was perfect.

  Amazing Stay for Us and Our Pet!

  The Roadrunner Lodge Motel is one of the cleanest motels I have ever stayed at, and we are extensive travelers. This place is so fun and nostalgic. My husband and I absolutely loved it so much we are staying here again on our way home two weeks later! The owners made it very special for our dog Stella, with treats and her own doggie towels! There is a cool dog run and it it safe to walk your dog off the property too. If you can make an effort to stay here to help these small business owners that would be wonderful, you will not be sorry!

  This place was fantastic! Really brought me back to the 50s and 60s. Loved that there was a fully fenced area for the pups to go off leash. Appreciated the dog treats and moon pies on the bed waiting for us. That really won my hubby over and the dogs say thank you as well. Cheers!

  Loved the extra touches- like gourmet dog treats arranged neatly on a plate, like a water bowl and clean-up towels, even knowing our dog’s name... a light on and music playing made a warm welcome! This is very vintage 1960’s, no frills (tiny bathroom, no frig/microwave) but VERY comfy king bed. Nice dog yard and great places to eat across the street (with pet friendly patios).

  The Road Runner Lodge was exceptionally welcoming and clean. They had a fenced and grassy play yard for the dogs. There were treats, water bowl, and towels

  I chose the Snazzy 60s room with dog friendly accommodations. I highly recommend the room for a 60’s getaway. I was impressed by the added thoughtfulness for my pet. The room included dog treats, a water bowl and a personalized message with my dog’s name. Super comfy beds! The staff is simply amazing.

  Wonderful place to stay!

  We had a great stay at the Roadrunner! It started out great with contact free check which I really appreciated during this time. When we entered our room, a dog bowl and a plate of treats were set out for our pup. It was so cute and our Golden Retriever loved them! The room was clean and comfortable and the 60’s decor was very fun. The dog area was fenced in and had plenty of room for our dog to retrieve a tennis ball :). I highly recommend the Roadrunner and hope to be back soon!

  Everything was great! Didn’t put everyone on top of each other, room was clean and the hotel ambiance was a pleasure. Stay here, it is not some expensive corporation that don’t care about you, these guys do it right! Oh, there is also a dog park area waiting for you and your fur ball!

  We really enjoyed staying at this nostalgic hotel. Very clean room and comfortable beds. They provided treats for our dog, as well as a water bowl for her. They have a small fenced in grassy area for the dogs as well.

  I rarely post reviews but after a one night stay here I must let everyone know about this gem! The hosts of this hotel have thought of every detail! Homemade dog treats, dog bowls, baggies, towels for dog feet. They have a fenced dog yard with a fire pit and cute sitting areas. The restaurant next door (Kix on 66) has a dog food menu! The rooms are fantastic. Beds are comfy and the room is decorated with swanky retro flair. There is nothing old about this place, it’s a retro feel but with all the modern conveniences. Looking for something fun, unique, and comfy choose this hotel you won’t be disappointed.
