  Great location

  The bottom 18” of the curtains were stained with urine. If the curtains were shorter, the dogs would not have used it as a toilet and the room would not have smelled of urine. The rest of the room was pretty clean.

  Sad town

  Clean room. Large dog walking area, though lots of thorns. Nice, full breakfast. Town has very little to offer since the freeway re-routed most of its business traffic.

  Gross

  The room was old, worn out, and gross. Quality Inn has sure gone downhill. The breakfast had a very small selection. There were flies and a black bug the size of my thumb. The only good thing about it was the bed and bedding were comfortable.

  Perfect, comfortable

  Room was clean, very welcoming of pets. Friendly staff & nice warm breakfast. Only 2 restaurants nearby. Shower was warm not hot.

  Clean & quiet. Only reason for 3 bones is door lock & while at front desk saw a problem with other people; double booked same room.

  So disappointed

  Everything was dirty. Sheets had hair on them. Pillow cases had not been changed. Hair in sink and tub. Pee under toilet. No toilet paper. Slept on top of comforter in my clothes. Not happy.

  Has gone downhill!

  Dirty, not well maintained, short staffed. We've stayed here a few times over the past few years and will never stay here again.

  Nice hotel, good breakfast

  Plenty of room to walk our dog. On the east side of Tucumcari not really near anything except a Conoco/Phillips station. Had a good stay.

  Very clean

  The room was very clean. There is a restaurant on site that was good for dinner since we were tired. Free breakfast and the coffee was good. Room wasn't large. Had 2 queens and room for 2 small dogs. Clean rooms and clean area for the dogs. Would stay again.

  Entire Visit

  When I checked in, I was told dogs were not allowed in the lobby, requiring me to leave my dog in the vehicle. The first room they gave me was in the back of the hotel, with a door that faces the parking lot and the door did not lock. I requested another room and they gave me the room next door. That room didn't close well either. As a single woman, this is a dangerous situation. The remote did not work and the staff did not follow up as they said they would. There was a small dog area but there were no potty bags because the holder was empty. The room only had decaf coffee but I was able to get coffee in the breakfast area. I gave it 2 bones strictly because they actually had a hot buffet for breakfast.

  Surprisingly quiet

  Though located right on Interstate 40, the room was surprisingly quiet. We would stay here again.

  Not great

  Not as clean as we had hoped. Not recently vacuumed. A few long black hairs in bathroom area. Good price, but well east of town and nothing open nearby. Go two exits west

  Place was ok

  The room was ok. Pet area was full of dog poop. Outdoor facility lights didn’t come on until an hour after dark. Free hot breakfast was good

  I was charged twice for the one night that I stayed there. This hotel is more like a motel, need I say more?

  Great service

  They were booked solid as the travellers from Arizona we're headed home. They got everyone checked in quickly and efficiently. Thanks for a great stay. Easy off and on the freeway. Too bad people don't clean up after their dogs with the bags THEY provide.

  Updated Room

  We stayed in what appeared to be an updated room. Very nice and clean. Grassy area leaves a bit to be desired with some stickers and construction debris. Overall (especially when considering the price) we were satisfied.

  Good food, questionable cleaning

  I was prepared to leave a good review for this place shortly after we arrived. The room decor is very out of date, but we were told they were renovating a few rooms at a time. We got dinner from the Branding Iron restaurant that is here at the hotel and the food was excellent. We highly recommend the Fajitas and Enchiladas. Everything seemed ok for a while, but then when I got into the shower, I found a used bar of soap in the soap dish. I hope they just overlooked the soap dish while cleaning and didn't overlook cleaning the whole shower. You can also hear every footstep of the people above you. Finally, the bed was very bouncy and left me with quite a back ache this morning. We also overheard some other customers complaining about check-in problems at the front desk. There are no other restaurants, not even fast food, close by. I don't plan to stay here again and would recommend you choose another hotel in Tucumcari.
