We are on a 20+ hour trip with our two husky breed dogs and just needed somewhere to stay for one night. It worked, but let's be real, you get what you pay for, we know that. The hotel overall was fine. The room was small, furniture/ fixtures were outdated, the walls weren't "spotless," the breakfast was mediocre. The dog park in the back was just a large fenced in dirt patch behind the building (nothing fancy) and there was some poop left by careless dog owners, but honestly, it was great for us to have a place where we could simply throw a ball and let our dogs run off leash for a bit. They definitely appreciated it after 13 hours in the car. Not many hotels provide this so we were grateful for this as an option. Again, if you're looking for spotless and pristine, don't come, but if you're just looking for a cheap place to crash with dogs and allow your expectations match the budget you won't be disappointed.

Room was very small, but it was clean with no weird smells, a/c worked great. No ice machine, they just throw bagged ice in a freezer it was empty two of the three times I checked. Place is a little run down, and other dog owners don't pick up after their dogs. Come on people! I would stay there again if I was in a pinch.

Our room was clean enough. The hotel lobby and stairways were not very clean. No place to walk your dog on the property. Had to walk 1/2 mile south to a park, which was lovely.

There was a small enclosed area that was right behind the building for dogs. It was mostly just a dirt pit and they were out of doggy bags. There were huge weeds that were overgrown. Still, it was nice to let my doggie have a little bit of freedom on this trip.

The room was fine, however we were concerned as we entered the lobby. It was less then welcoming in appearance and the clerk was friendly and disheveled. The grounds needed cleaning, some due to careless pet owners. Would we stay there again? Probably not.

The hotel at check in charged the $20 a night for my dog and the room was available and decent. The room was very small but clean. The hallways and stairs were very dirty. The dog walking area was not found so I walked my dog along the busy road to a patch of grass located about 1/2 mile away.

Free hot breakfast (for hoomans) and a fenced dog run area. Yes people do not pick up after there dogs, but that is not new news. King bedroom had a desk and couch.

The room was small but comfortable for me and my crew. The dog park was FULL of poop. Shame on people who don’t clean up after their dogs, shame on the hotel for an empty poop bag dispenser. I brought my own bags.

The room was clean, but the exterior of the hotel was kind of gross. Trash littered by the side entryway, along with broken down chairs. I guess people smoke there, but overall it just gave a creepy feeling. There was a fenced-in area in the back with some grass. While we were there, it was pretty clean. But still not a great area for a large dogs. Would skip this one, especially if you have large dogs.

It’s a dump. I can’t believe it got 4 bones!! The toilet seat was worn to the wood/plastic and unstable the bathroom sink was cracked.

We were happy with most things. It was clean, quiet, hot breakfast. But the room was fairly small. Bigger problem was the messy dog area. We always pick up after our dog, but obviously not everyone does. Would be nice if front desk staff remind dog owners of need to pick up. Perhaps they could also police the dog area frequently to prevent it becoming too messy.

We have stayed here before and likely will again for reasons stated before but discovered this time (I guess I was always on the ground floor previously) that there is no elevator and carrying everything up even on flight of stairs was tough on my bad knee after stting in the car all day. FYI!!!

This hotel had a small fenced dog park, and other dog items available to borrow (bowls, beds, leashes)! The concierge came out from behind the desk to greet our pup with some pets and scratches as well. Hotel was very basic, but they do their best to accommodate for furry friends, which is really nice!

If you can avoid Elko I would. Kind of gross, but mostly because people are pigs and do not pick up after their dogs. They have a decent fenced in area right next to the smoking section. If you are like me and sleep lightly DO NOT STOP! There is a train that runs behind the hotel all night and it is not a pleasant sound. Staff were grumpy and very unhelpful about places to eat. Room was adequately clean. Typical "dog room" from my experiences. 3,300 miles of them!

Stayed for a night with our border collie while traveling between Wyoming and California. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, fenced dog run, good breakfast on site. Will stay there again.

Our room on the second floor had a padded window seat that my dog decided was a wonderful place to sit and watch the goings on. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a tub/shower combo with complimentary soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion. The pet area has a double door setup (go in one, close it, then open and close the next one - no run away dogs 😃..) This hotel has very friendly staff and is a good value.
