I enjoyed our time at NYNY Vegas. The dog park was great and clean and rarely busy. I also didn't have any issues at all having my little guy with me all over the hotel. I would definitely stay again.

First visit with my pup and it was great! They gave me an option of either a 1st floor room or one on the 39th floor. We took the 39th and the view was spectacular! Everyone was so accommodating and even let us cruise areas that were stated as not allowed. It was weird that there wasn't a fridge in the room but not a big deal for us. We'll definitely go back.

NYNY in Vegas is a great place to stay with or without a pet. I thought the $50 extra charge was high when all other places we've stayed just charged $20. Plus ad'l $41 dollar resort fee. Also having to ride in elevator was a challenge for our dog who had never been in one before. Also, the place to take pets to poop, though close to hotel, was extremely small. (I have a large dog). Also BringFido is the best app ever!!! So convenient and easy to use.

We loved the location of the hotel for humans but not necessarily for pets. The elevators were always packed with wait times of 30 mins and not everyone liked having dogs on the elevator with them. Need another source for taking a dog out; the wait time and distance isn’t good for a dog.

Room was nice. The entire strip is bad for pets. Frankly, I think that if a pet fee is over $25, they're not pet friendly, but pet extortionists. At NYNY we self parked in the parking garage and were then told we couldn't use a luggage cart to transport our luggage. So we had to make several trips to the 27th floor. Room didn't include a refrigerator. They want $25/night to put a refrigerator in the room. I'm sure this is standard in LV. Corporate scum screwing everyone for a few extra dollars. In their pet policy, they say that if they find the pet not in a crate they will charge $100/hour until you can be located and come back to the room. Never again.

By “dog park,” they mean a partially-fenced 10’ x 20’ patch of old turds and older turf nestled between the parking garage and a busy street. It was depressing for pup & pop in equal measure.

The hotel was nice and even gave dog treats. The staff was helpful and help with the dog area. The floor stayedbon had a special elevator so the dog did not have to be in a crowded elevator.

The hotel was clean and front desk as accommodating as they could be. They need to have rooms close to dog potty areas. Hard to maneuver through casino with pet. Front desk associate was sweet and helpful .

The doggy potty area was far from room we were in (the cheapest room options) but we all had a blast. Our pup went all over the casino, arcade, and shops with us. Everyone was very nice!

I go to Vegas a few times each year because I live in San Diego and its a short trip. I always stay at the MGM properties so I’m very familiar with all their locations. NY NY is a great location with many restaurants, activities and the casino is one of my favorites.
This was my first time visiting Vegas with a dog so there are a lot more things to think about. The NY NY is very accommodating to pets and everyone is really friendly about you bringing your dog. There is a dog park area outside but it is very far away from the entrance and it’s pretty hectic out there. the hotel elevators are also hurried as far away as possible from the entrance so getting your dog from the room to the outside is quite the mission. I have 3 bones because of this hard to navigate with a dog environment. I’m thinking that perhaps one of the other MGM properties may be better suited for dogs.
