Red Roof? More like falling roof. Mattress laying at dumpster. Two uninformed people in check-in location calling someone about customers waiting in the “lobby." Low flying airplanes scared our dog so badly. Ended up at a Marriott.

The room was quite nice, clean and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Centrally located. Well marked parking spaces. The dog liked it, too! I'm glad there was an elevator, but the floor was filthy. Same goes for the stairwell.

Room was just average. Bathroom shower didn't drain well, and surround was broken. No extra fee for our dog. But they do take a $100 deposit for any damages. It's a good place in a pinch traveling through Albany, NY.

No one was there in the office - a sign was there saying someone would be back. This was true and host was congenial. Room was tired, handicapped we are not. Backside, far away, under a plane runway, very fair.

Smoke free room ....it wasn’t. Reeked of smoked. Fridge was gross , carpet under been gross , bathroom , gross. Honestly we needed a room for the night that we could have the puppies at. It suited for the 4-6 hours of sleep we needed then got out. The woman at the front desk was super nice though!

The first room we had was full of some kind of flying bugs. It wasn't one or two but a swarm. The second room the small refrigerator smelled so badly that we put a box in front of it to keep it tightly closed. The bolts for the handy cap seat in the shower were coming out of the wall and the shower wall was cracked where one bolt was. The second night of our stay the pillow cover slipped and we found blood and a large dark stain on the pillow. We took the item to the office and the manager held up his hand and said he wasn't talking to us but he would get the head of housekeeping to talk to us. We showed her the pillow and told her all of the problems we had. She promptly turned and walked out of the room without saying anything. As she walked past a window outside she held up her hand and said stay there a min like we worked for her. We sat there for about five minutes. The man behind the desk said he was going to housekeeping and walked out. So there we are waiting for some answers alone in their office. Finally, the head of housekeeping shows back up. She tells us the pillow doesn't belong to them and seems to think that handled the problem. Well, it was on the bed and is covered with one of your pillowcases so that means no-one changed the sheets after the last person? We were assured that wasn't the case. She finally admitted that the cleaning person put a clean case on a disgusting pillow and that we would get one night free. We asked for something in writing telling us a refund was due and that is another story for another time, Needless to say, it took five more minutes to get something in writing. We then informed them we would not be staying another night.

The motel was easy to find, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. It is close to the highway, so I was surprised not to hear traffic. It is on a flight path; planes quit at a reasonable time in the pm, but started up about 6:30 am . The ac's noise level was about equal to a box fan on medium, which may have blocked out any outside noise. However, every time the compressor turned on, it definitely got deeper & louder. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. (The dog slept just fine!)
