    Nice, it’s a small apartment

    It’s a clean, well appointed studio apartment complete with a full kitchen. There’s a little construction going on at the front entrance so I had to go in the poorly marked rear door. The BringFido site lists the pet fee as $25, but it’s actually $30, a bit steep for me, but they lowered it when I pointed out the discrepancy. Another warning: it is no longer Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham; it is now a Best Western. Apparently they made the switch about a month ago, which caused a bit of confusion as I was looking for the hotel.

    Should be closed for business

    It is a construction site with hazards everywhere on the property. Half finished sidewalks, wires protruding, trash. Horrendous.

    Would have been Nice but…

    I was surprised to see that the place was under renovation when we arrived. check-in was slow and manual. The lobby and food service area was under construction so no food service offered even though they advertised free breakfast. The grounds are under construction and no paved walkways. There are no dog walking areas and the grass next to the parking lot was littered with trash. Very limited parking and had to park in another hotel parking lot. The rooms were relatively clean (so construction dust in the room) but was sparsely appointed, no spare pillows, blankets, towels, no hairdryer or iron, very limited toilet paper and toiletries. Very limited coffee and tea and the packets scattered on the kitchen counter. The TV can’t be viewed from the bed and the sofa is too close to the TV with little space to move it for viewing. The beds are comfortable. Pool area opens at 9am and closes at 7pm. Lastly the construction workers started working at 6am. Overall it’s an OK value but would not consider staying there again until the construction is completed.

    Overall a good stay.

    They were undergoing major renovations. Due to that when I drove up I was worried. The rooms were however very nice and clean. There really was no place designated place to walk dogs, although there was grassy areas, that were littered with trash and since there was construction debris I did worry about glass and nails. I managed to find a place to walk without such concerns. I will stay again. I really believe that once the renovations are done it will be a great place to stay in every way.

    Friendly & Convenient

    Beds and accommodation was comfy. Kitchen area not as clean as I would like and the upstairs neighbors were very rambunctious. Sounded like they were right there in the room with you! But they are in the process of updating and that I'm told it's one of the key fixes.

    Booked this hotel for my dad Pet friendly. Excellent customer service. He ran into an emergency with his dog and the staff was so attentive.

    Really easy accommodations. Small area for dogs outside by the parking lot. I used a sound machine to block out noise from outside to keep my pup relaxed.

    Traveling with dog

    Best part- able to take dog with us. Interior of unit comfortable and clean but dated. Exterior of facility showing obvious need of postponed repairs.

    Nice stay

    Decor was a little dated but lodging/$ was freak. Full kitchen (stove, apartment size fridge with ice maker, dishwasher etc. Room was clean and quiet. Too late in the season for us, but they had a nice pol area with gas grill and loungers. Facility going through a major upgrade. Puppy was very welcome.

    Designed for folks looking for more than one night but easy on and off of I84 made it good for us.
