    Served It’s Purpose

    I loved the ease of check-in and our room was conveniently located close to a door to the outside. There wasn’t much room to explore for our pup, but it served the purpose of an overnight stay. The breakfast was nice and the staff, from what we experienced, were friendly.

    This place is gross and they do charge a fee despite what is in the description

    We checked in late and there was a sign in the lobby that said that all dog owners would incur a nonrefundable $75 fee. This is not on the website. I challenged it and I think they waived the fee thankfully. Here is why they only get one bone though. When we got to the room we noticed a dark wet spot in the rug near the mini fridge. It was near midnight and we shrugged it off and climbed into bed to sleep. In the morning my partner woke up and found that the sheets we had been sleeping in had dried blood stains all over them from a previous guest. When we walked to the bathroom barefooted our feet accumulated a sticky slippery film from the rug. One of the supposedly clean towels had a brown streak down the middle of it. I have stayed in some dives but I was paying under $100 for those and knew what I was getting. I paid close to $200 and while that is not a lot I do expect (at minimum) hygienic conditions. Go somewhere else.

    good stay

    Our stay was good. The room was clean but very outdated. The shower handle was missing but we were able to still turn the shower on. The toilet seat was loose but still useable. Not much of a selection on Dish TV. I felt safe and the staff was very nice and accommodating. I would recommend and I would go again. I’m hoping they consider updating their rooms. The pups and I overall enjoyed our stay.

    My husband and I stayed here a few months ago and, for the money, felt it was excellent. I’m disappointed to say our most recent stay did not measure up. To begin with, the person who checked us in was less than hospitable — OK, no big deal. We knew from our last visit that housekeeping cleans rooms only every other day (though no one ever told us that), but this time, when we extended our stay and were asked if we required housekeeping for the next day, my husband said “yes,” but added that just emptying trash and replacing coffee and cups would be fine. When we returned that evening and trash was still full, no coffee/cups he told the front desk person (a different one) and she said (without apology) that because we had our dog with us we needed to let them know when we were leaving the room. When asked why we weren’t told that we got a shrug — and again no apology. Also, that morning, my husband had paid for our extra stay in cash, and I later noticed that my credit card (which was on file) had also been charged. Told the same front desk person, who insisted that was impossible ... despite that I was looking at the charge on my account. No apology. Vending machines are broken, door keys didn’t work consistently, and the fan/light in the bathroom was so loud (clearly needing repair) that one of us couldn’t turn the light on without waking the other. I understand that COVID has affected everything, everywhere ... but if nothing else, a little friendliness and hospitality would have gone a long way. We will look for another place to stay next time.

    Everything was fine.

    No complaints. Location of rooms was good for the purpose of walking my dog. Staff was courteous.
