Lake Placid Lodge
Lake Placid Lodge welcomes two dogs of any size in designated cabins for an additional fee of $75 per pet, per night. However, pet-friendly cabins cannot be booked online. Guests with pets must call (518) 523-2700 to request a pet-friendly room. Dogs must be crated if left unattended in cabins. Four-legged guests receive an Opal Paws welcome amenity pack that includes a plush bed, feeding bowls, placemats, dental stick treats, and waste bags. Beds and bowls may be kept for an additional fee. There are grassy areas for pet relief on the property. Cats are not permitted.

Description
The Lake Placid Lodge is magnificent. Sweeping stone fireplaces look to the lake; diamond paned windows frame the sky. The main building is a remarkable arts and crafts style lodge, different in shape and layout from the original but true in spirit. It offers the finest accommodations and dining in a truly beautiful setting We look forward to welcoming you to the Adirondacks and to the Lake Placid Lodge. Children aged 12 and older are welcome. The Lodge's guest rooms, suites and seventeen lakefront cabins are uncommonly comfortable ~ at once rustic and luxurious, even splendid. All guest rooms have large stone wood-burning fireplaces and wonderful lake and mountain views, and all have private baths, most with deep-soaking tubs and double headed showers.
