Gild Hall, the newest addition to Thompson Hotels is located in the heart of the Financial District, the fastest growing neighborhood in Manhattan. Nestled on Gold Street at the corner of Platt and William Street, Gild Hall is in walking distance to Wall Street, the New York Stock Exchange, The World Trade Center Site, South Street Seaport, the Statue of Liberty and Battery Park. For shopping enthusiasts downtown boasts Hermes, Tiffany's, Thomas Pink and Century 21, the designer department store. Our rooms are warm and sophisticated with rich colors of chocolate and red and feature amenities such as Custom made 400 thread count SFERRA linens, down beddings, flat screen TV, iPod docking station and alarm clock, cordless handheld dual line phone, Dean and Deluca gourmet minibar items, Bathroom amenities by Fresh, oversized terry robes by Frette. 24 Hours room service, restaurant and bars are set to open in Summer of 2008. Alternate arrangements with local restaurants have been made.

Safe Stay: Gild Hall A Thompson Hotels has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place, and follows the GBAC STAR (Hyatt) cleanliness and sanitization policy. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Hotel staff are required to wear masks.

    Perfect Location, Downtown Gem

    Cleanest hotel ever! Richly appointed, the hotel is a gem and staff well above average. Restaurant cozy, food delicious. Felt very welcome with the dog. Of course room was small (most NYC hotel
    rooms are smaller than average) but had everything we needed. If you want to hit the downtown sites via the beat way possible (walking): Chinatown, Financial District, Battery Park, Lady Liberty, the South Street Seaport, this location is perfect!

    VERY Dog Friendly

    Feels like a boutique hotel, but owned by Hyatt (points anyone?). Cool decor and vibe. Super comfortable beds (pillows are heavenly).You can leave your dog in the room crated. The staff is super friendly and knew our dog by name (we were there a week). Prosecco served at the front desk 3:00 on (cheers). Location is close to Battery Park (great for dog walking), Oculus, Seaport, and a 30 minute walk to Chinatown/Little Italy. Quiet street with many restaurants, bars and grocery store. Highly recommend.

    Nice hotel, nice staff

    Boutique hotel but very friendly toward dogs. They provided plastic bowls. There is a dog run not too far down by the Seaport area.

    Dogs loved it!

    I was on a NYC staycation due to a bad landlord situation. This hotel helped me forget all of that. They provided dog bowls which I forgot and the staff all seemed to love pets which made it even better! The maid found me on another floor & asked if I needed the room cleaned etc. I am totally pleased and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Clean nice hotel, food in the restaurant downstairs is 100% and the staff were there to do hospitality and seemed to enjoy their role. I will also add that the Covid protocols were on point too.

    Amazing stay

    We are locals and stayed only one night as a 'staycation' with our pup. We were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel itself is amazing. Great decor and ambiance. VERY comfortable bed. Amazing location. We had a lower floor so didn't really have a view, but you are within walking distance of the subway and many downtown 'hot spots'. Best thing though was that staying with our pet was great. We felt very welcome as soon as we walked in and had absolutely no issues. There is a dog run nearby, to let your pet off leash, but also just a lot of great places to walk around with your pup. This hotel is also an amazing value for what you are getting + location and pet friendliness.

    Great hotel!

    We used to live in NYC and when we did, we always put our friends and family visiting here at this hotel because the entire hotel is just great! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, clean and the beds are super comfortable. There's a great restaurant next to the lobby! Now we moved out of NYC but when we go back for meetings we will always try to stay here! Perfect hotel and 100% dog friendly!

    Nice hotel, nice staff

    I took my 30 lb dog to the hotel and was pleased by the hotel's quality (ambience, cleanliness, room size) and the nice front desk staff. I would stay here again.

    My favorite hotel in the entire city!

    The only hotel that has no pet fee, no weight requirement, and allows multiple pets - and was a great rate!
    The hotel is beautiful, staff helpful and kind. The room was very clean, decor was awesome and the bed was super comfortable. I brought my two Labradors, an incredible experience. We WILL be back!!
